30 minute lunch break spent in drive thru.
Placed order, white castle employee asked me if the order was right on the screen. I explained it wasn't. I never know something as simple as saying I wanted only onion messed the whole order up. I said it's supposed to be "only onion" and the screen says "no onion" employee said "what?" I repeated it and proceeded to repeat that 3 more times at the speaker before I was told "PULL AROUND TO THE FIRST WINDOW" I get to the window and employee says "what is it now?" I said again it says "no onion" and it's supposed to be "only onion" he replied back that's what it says "no onion" I said again "only onion" not "no onion" "only onion" he replied back with it says "no onion" this went on for about 3 more times until it finally clicked. He tells me the total, I hand him my card, he rings it up, hands my card and receipt back without a single word. I get to the pickup window I ordered 8 sandwiches total and cheese stick and a fry. When the bag was handed to me I only had six sandwiches and cheese sticks and a fry. I spent a good three or four minutes just trying to get an employee's attention to let them know that I was missing food from my order. Finally the employee comes to the window and says "what do you need?" I said I only have six sandwiches I am missing two. She said "hold on I'll get you two more" I asked her as she was walking away if she knew which two I was missing? She then proceeds to yell to the back of the store "hey does anybody know what two sandwiches she's missing?" She then asks for my bag back so they can go through the food to figure it out. I told her "no" I would look and let her know. So as I'm taking everything out of my bag opening up the sandwiches I get down to the last two sandwiches and she comes back to the window and hands me a bag and say "here we forgot these." I return to work with lunch order for myself and a coworker, and not only is our food cold at this point but four of the eight sandwiches are made wrong! So in short this will be a location I will NEVER visit again. Very nice remodeled building however the associates who work there are unfriendly, condescending, and worst of all...
Read moreI've lived alongside Vine Street for about 8 years and this White Castle is consistently the most reliable and expedient fast food restaurant along all of vine street and/or Route 4. Fast, friendly service...hot food...short wait times. I love this place and everyone working there deserves a raise! It isn't fair for corporate to get bonuses on top of their extremely cushy pay while those doing the actual work and giving the actual customer service receive so little. Give them all raises! For the last 8 years living on this street they are the only reliable fast food restaurant. They worked hard for that. Give them raises or maybe we should boycott! They deserve it!
For those who can't read between the lines, this is a great spot regardless of what others say. I live down the street and come here often and have yet to be disappointed. Give your people a raise, God knows corporate isn't in there handling the day to day so corporate shouldn't take another bonus until workers are given a fair share. Just my two cents but I used to be a manager in a different industry so maybe what I say...
Read moreI'd choose negative stars if possible. I waited over 45 minutes inside waiting for food I had ordered 20 minutes before arriving there! Only 1 woman was running around trying to do everything. There was 1 other woman who had her phone out and that is where all the other workers were. They all kept laughing and talking about pictures/messages and videos on her phone. 0 customer service. They'd look at customers coming in and not greet, or even smile, at them! They'd immediately go back to whatever things on that woman's phone that were more important than them working for the company that is paying them. Not to mention the tables were dirty with previous customer's food crumbs and trash, no condiments available and if asked for when FINALLY getting the order people have been waiting on, it was clearly suggested that we were...
