Was not expecting this to be anything more than a deli, I was very wrong.

Part deli, part market, part home goods store, part bakery, and part starbucks. All impressive. Made the journey on foot which makes this a bit more memorable, but I had been planning on visiting for dinner for a week now.

Ended up ordering the Thanksgiving Hoagie, the Mega Muni Crispy Wrap, and while I was not planning on it, as I already had some dessert at home, I also bought a Fruit Tart, a slice of Biscoff Cheesecake, and a Frosted Cookie. Coming to a grand total just over $50, which was more than expected but those desserts added up.

Starting with the wrap, I found it, while warm, to be far too sweet. I think they over did it with the honey mustard, however, as I did not finish the wrap, the second half that I refrigerated overnight was outstanding! Totally need to make getting the wrap cold and option. The hoagie on the other hand, goodness me, it was mind blowing! Truly tasted like I was scarfing down a sandwich from leftovers after the holiday, is was totally perfect, no complaints. Loved the slight sweet flavor from the mayo, which contrasted with the savory turkey and mild cheese. I really hope this is not a season thing, as I want more.

Now, those desserts. So the cookie was whatever, very similar to other grocery store brand soft frosted cookies. Nothing to write home about. The fruit tart was alright, weirdly more bready than a lot of fruit tarts I have tasted before. Could use more fruit. But put all those aside, because the biscoff cheesecake was the experience I needed. Softer than your typical cheesecake, and more mild than one too. The biscoff flavor was on point, just note that if you chill it, like I did with the leftovers, the soft texture will go away and it becomes rather dense.

If nothing else, I'm coming back for that...

I normally don’t like to leave reviews like this. I’m not the type of person to give a hard time. I usually give a business. Another chance if they mess up. However, I called in an order for breakfast and I came in 15 minutes after to pick up the food. When I came in she gave me a hard time that I came in too early and she didn’t even make the hashbrowns on my order. I asked her to just credit it back to my account because I couldn’t wait. I had somewhere to be she said the system was down , and since then, has been refusing to credit me. I called in the next morning to see where the credit was and they lied and said they had a call on another line. When I said I was going to dispute the charge then they said oh let me hand the phone over to her at that point I’m just over it, they someone who spends a lot of money on food over two dollars is the principal of being an honest business owner and not being rude to your customers. I would not recommend coming here. The egg sandwiches weren’t even that good . I Would pick out from guges dogs any day over this place .I ended up paying $19 for two egg sandwiches and didn’t even get my money back for the side. The owner was pretty rude to me.

Edit: I have the phone records to prove she’s lying about coming in “5 min after”. Lying only digs you deeper into a hole. Have...

Dear manager, your register guy was kind and he tried, you however set him up for failure. 1 person on register, 2 people on bench, tale as old as time. Of course my call to you was unkind, we waited 23 min for a WRONGLY MADE sandwich, a pattern in your establishment which is unfortunate because your food is great. Here's my advice to you, grow a thicker skin, you're in the food industry and people who are repeatedly inconvenienced are not going to tread lightly around your feelings. Also, when someone calls to let you know very clearly why they will NOT be revisting your establishment, do not dare call them back. I was not looking for recompense, I was calling to let you know, firmly, that you should do better. If my children grow up and enter your industry, I would expect them to be reprimanded or fired for their wrong doings. Obviously not new guy, YOU. A person should know when they need to move forward in a way that is more suitable for their position and for the establishment they represent. Good luck and again, do better, for you...

I am happy so many people had great experiences here and rarely write reviews but three strikes and you are out. This is the third sub I have gotten and had to throw out the bread and eat the filling because the bread is so soggy it is disgusting. Today I ordered a grinder. it was cold and had unmelted clumps of cheese on it. It is rather pricey but that would be ok for a quality product but not for cold, lumpy soggy sandwiches you need to eat with a soup spoon. Sorry guys, at first I thought you just needed time to learn the ropes but you just aren't getting it.

Excellent place for the low standards of this Amsterdam NY area. Food, dining and bathroom excellent and clean. Healthy alternatives to fast food is at this business. Employee behind register is polite, thorough, knowledgeable and professional. One of the best businesses in Amsterdam NY. I see they even carry real pasta from Italy not the fake garbage usa junk made sold in the retail stores, frozen pasture fed chickens, beef, import Italian sweets and some unique desserts. Had grilled tuna sandwich with beef stew. Highly recommend.
