This is my third visit to Amsterdam and as much into this restaurant. My experience with the service here has forced me to leave this review. How can you forget food or items necessary to complete the meal. How can one restaurant and the team be so forgetful? On the first two visits, we had to double back because an item was forgotten. Are you doing this on purpose? Is this how you scrape out more revenue?
The entire management staff should be retrained to focus on customer service. And a timeline established where their work is assessed by regional managers.
I can't believe this is McDonald's, the brand that created the Gold Standard for fast food and customer service. The service at this particular site spits in the face of all that. Their consistency in failing to satisfy my simplest request is unbelievable, unacceptable, but repairable.
Im asking for ownership and their representatives to fix this or sell the franchise to someone who can. Do better! Until then, I will not be visiting this restaurant again.
Waited 10 minutes for a cup of hot tea, no sugar, and no milk. When I finally received it, it was made with milk. Realizing the mistake, the team member went back to correct it. That took another 4+ minutes to make. Tea.
Order a ten piece nugget meal with barbecue sauce. They forgot the sauce. When we informed the team member along with a receipt, she returned with sweet and sour sauce. No biggie and no fault of her own, the ink on the recipt was barely legible.
Ordered a lunch meal and a breakfast meal around 11 am today. I just knew that this was not going to go right. Asked for barbecue sauce on the side. Yes, I paid extra for that. Received sweet and sour sauce instead. Ugh...asked my son to go in and ask for barbecue sauce.
In assuming that was all, we proceeded to our destination. But they forgot the apples and raisins for the oatmeal I ordered. Some would read this review and say that I should just drive back and ask them to make it right, and you're right. I have, on the first two instances. This is me now trying to communicate with their managers for them to make it right.

Read moreI placed an order at 9:31pm for counter pickup. At roughly 9:50pm I made my way to the door. The sign said dining room open until 11pm, but the door was locked. I parked in a curbside spot and tried calling a dozen or so times without any answer. Finally I walked up to the drive-thru to ask if my order could be brought out. She yelled back that she wouldnt talk to me unless I drove up. I responded that the line was really long and Id already ordered. She ignored me, so I had no choice but to get into line. Some 20 minutes later I reach the window. It takes forever for her to finally come back and tell me I’ll have to order again because they don’t have it. I show here my app confirm, as well as the pending charge to my bank card, and insist that I’m not paying again. She goes to get the manager. The conversation goes the same way, except that she looks and communicates as if she was just released from prison, complete with neck tattoos and high-rolled sleeves. Again I show her two forms of order confirmation. Again I’m told to order again. I ask why she won’t do what a manager should by letting me leave with my food without further inconvenience then figure out what went wrong later. She says because I probably made those screenshots just to get free food. I was about to show her the screens were live and not photos. It hit me just then that I’d spent an hour of my life trying to resolve an issue that amounted to less than $10 worth of food. I just drove off. As I pulled away I could see and hear her leaning out the window and yelling obscenities at me. I placed another order for the location off the highway and picked it up without issue. Read moreI really wish I could give this place ZERO stars after what I saw yesterday morning. There was a young lady pregnant with her 2 young children trying to get them breakfast. The kids were antsy you could tell they were hungry and her card kept gettinf declined. She handed over 5$ to the manager and that left only 6$ on her total and tried her card again. The card declined. The manager really took away a breakfast sandwich and a hash brown in front of the line of people behind her and sent her away with only an orange juice and small breakfast burrito... i was trying to get out the 6$ from my purse to help this poor young lady feed her obviously hungry children but before I could she hurried off with her kids out the door embarassed and humiliated... SHAME on the McDonalds management! It was just a sandwich and hash brown and with all the money flooding in daily on top of all the food wasted there she really let that pregnant girl leave with her 2 kids hungry like that! I was absolutely disgusted and I left the line with no intentions of ever coming back to a McDonalds anywhere ever! I also plan on making a Facebook post about this too I’ve never felt so disgusted by a manager in my entire life. How she was ok looking that young woman in her eyes taking away food and sending her off with basically nothing to feed her 2 kids ia beyond me! But there certainly is a special place in hell for people like her! This world is so ugly and greedy!
