El Charro Mexican Grill — Restaurant in City of Berlin

Highly Recommend! Came in for dinner over the weekend with my significant other and I have only positive things to say about this establishment. They were extremely busy while being staffed by what I could count as only 5 people, not including whoever is in the kitchen. These guys and gals were running all over the restaurant, and all the while providing a wonderful experience for us, as well as everyone else that I could see.

The food was incredible, I had the Enchiladas Rancheras, which were amazing. Quite possibly the best enchiladas I've had in a long time.

She had a Chimichanga, which was also delicious.

Additionally, they have a great selection of drinks, including the ever-elusive Huckleberry Margarita! Being from the west coast that is a flavor that I am always so excited to find!

Berlin has a couple of Mexican restaurants. El Charro is the best when it comes to price and quality for sit-down lunch and dinner, with a nice bar and drink menu. The menu is Mexican, not fad or Americanized takes.

Atmosphere, it still has remains from the Italian restaurant that used to be there such as the paintings on the wall (not hung pictures, the walls are actually painted with scenes from Italy). Aside from that it has all the right feels and visuals for the cuisine, and they are slowly removing the Italian out of the dining areas. The bar looks fantastic, clean and right.

Great salsa and Margarita on the Rocks! I ordered the Rice Plate in the House Specials area of the menu. When you don’t know what you want…order this! It has Grilled chicken, steak and shrimp, over rice, onions and green peppers. (I ordered it without cheese sauce, which I tried off of my husband’s dinner, and it’s delicious by the way). It’s like a fajita without the shells without the cheese. Everything was cooked perfectly, juicy and had flavor.
