We visited Nips on a weekend afternoon for an early dinner. The establishment was not busy. Staff was very quick to take our drink and food orders and the food arrived quick and hot.

We certainly had a good time when we went. Their wings are supposedly “world famous,” but I can assure you they are not above and beyond the standard chicken wing. Yes, they have many, many flavors to choose from, but the quality of their wings varies greatly basket to basket. My order was overcooked to the point where the bones were brittle, and I was picking bits of bone from every other mouthful. My son and I stopped for wings at nips yesterday, after having been reminded about how good they were. Many years ago I lived up the street and use to go there all the time. We sat at a table, waited 45 minutes, no one came over to offer to refresh our drinks, and when we inquired, discovered they had been sitting behind the bar for 15 minutes already. $30 later, for two dozen wings, I opened my box only to discover that they were mild wings when I had ordered nuclear, and they were dry as a bone.
