Maine Harvest Seafood — Restaurant in City of Elmira

I use to stop here once a week but it's been some time. I was thinking the owners had sold the business. I stopped by the store on Thursday and got fish and I was happy to see the people behind the counter that used to be there were back. Unfortunately the fish had a smell to them but after I broiled them in the oven they tasted ok. I think the fish may have been a week old it did not taste good so I throw it out. I purchased 150 little neck clams that were superb. They washed the shells individually by hand. After soaking in saltwater like always, they were the cleanest, freshest clams I ever had. We also bought 2 haddock fillets. Again, the freshest fish ever imagined without being at the shore. 1lb of sea scallops were excellent. Needless to say, it was well worth the 60 mile drive. This place is a true gem. I work in Elmira 3 days a week and this is the only place I get my seafood. Great quality, prices and staff is always friendly and happy to cater to whatever you need from them. I have never had a bad experience here.
