JoJo’s Ice Cream — Restaurant in City of Lockport

I’m going to start off with stating their ice cream is delicious. I am a frequent customer here. With that said, I am not here to be a “Karen”, as most would call it. Everytime, and I mean, every single time I am waiting in line for 30+ minutes. For some ice cream lol. There can be 4 cars in front of me and I am still waiting over a half hour to have my order taken. My last complaint is their “last car” policy. They had out a piece of paper to the “last” car in line to come in at closing. With this, anyone else who comes after gets dismissed at the window after waiting and waiting. This has actually happened to me and I got in line right at closing. On the dot. Just feel this review was needed and hopefully it’s read as constructive criticism. Again, their ice cream is...

The staff is very friendly & patient. The two girls that work most often during the day when I go are the sweetest!! They've even had my order ready for me upon walking in because they seen me pull in. I was impressed and pleased. A little scary that I've been there that often that they'd remember my order. However, in my defense I did warn them previously that they could plan on seeing me every day because of how much I love the strawberry shortcake parfait (w/ an extra shortcake thing of course-now they'll know who's writing this review-oops) This dessert and their always smiling faces have turned a few bad days completely around for me and I thank them for that. So here's to making many faces continue to smile the rest of the "ice cream season"!!!!! Kudos...

I've been here twice now with my family. It's not the cleanest place I've been but nowhere near the worst. The prices are average. The portions are respectable. The staff seemed polite and accommodating. The options are numerous. There is a drive-thru available but no handicap entrance. One of us has tripped on the bizarre steps both times. They offer an option for dogs, all be it a somewhat expensive option. In both trips I've made they have made an error in at least one order. This last time I got the ice cream nachos. Some of it was stale. The toppings were excellent and abundant but the stale cone chips were a disappointment. I will likely go back (for now) and would recommend. That may change with a...
