READ FIRST. This is not your ordinary restaurant. Every diner gets one hot pot. The cost of the pot includes free drinks (basic canned soft drinks), and your (unlimited) choice of meat and vegetables to put in your pot. You have 2 hours, and any food you didn't get to, you will be charged extra for. BUT, you can order more food at any time while you're dining.
HOW TO ORDER
It might be easier to designate one person in your party to setup and submit the order (but everyone at the table can scan the code and edit the order). Submit your order for the soups and drinks.
SECOND STEP Order everything else. Meats, veggies, and noodles. We were told that the pictures show the exact amount of any given item you're getting, but sometimes this was hard to estimate (particularly for the greens). But if it shows one rice ball, the order includes just one rice ball.
Submit your order to get it sent to your table. Re-order again as many times as you want during your dining. The server will come out with your hotpots and light the stove. You can adjust the flame, which you'll probably want to do later in the meal, but careful to not extinguish the flame if you don't intend to.
FINAL STEP The "bar" at the back of the room has sauces, seasonings, dips, dishes, and utensils (for the chopstick challenged or for sifting your hot pot). I highly recommend adding some of these to your pot, and leveraging the sauces for dipping. Also, grab a plate for taking some food out of your pot to cool before eating.
Such a fun dining experience exploring flavors you can't find anywhere else in the area. I...
Read moreReally sad that I have to make this review but I need to be honest. Let’s start with what was good, the food. What we got was good but the problem was getting it to the table. At these kinds of places if you order too much and don’t finish it you have to pay extra, that is fine I totally get that. Having this in mind we ordered what we knew we could handle but wanted to wait and see how the portions came out. The order came and some of the items are missing again totally fine… if we ever got our second order. We finished our first round then put in a second as we were finishing. 20 minutes pass and the server comes over and says we are out of most of what we ordered and gives us a plate of noodles. How do you run out at an all you can eat? The strange part is they were still taking new tables which I’m not sure how that possible if some of the most ordered items are out. It has now been 2 hours in total and we have gotten one round in which wasn’t all that much. They obviously took in more guests than they could handle . It wasn’t cheap either, we paid $30 per person and we weren’t given a discount or comped. We just cut our losses after we realized we probably weren’t going to get anything. Really disappointed drove an hour to try it out. I am sure if it wasn’t that busy we would have had a good time. But if you can’t handle that many guests don’t...
Read moreAs soon as we arrived we were greeted by the lady that served us (Ana) along with a very clean and organized seating area. Ana was great from the start and explained to us how we should order and that it is “All you can eat”. To start you must select the amount of people at your party and whether they are children or adults. Then you select the soup base you would like and then from there you can order all the ingredients for the hot pot. The meats come in a big plate full to the brim so be mindful of how many plates you order, there is also a huge selection of sauces for your hot pot. Drinks are also included with the fixed price and you can get refills for no cost. You can continue to order more items throughout your meal time. The selection is pretty good and they will keep adding more items as time goes by. We ate as much as we wanted and until we were satisfied. To complete this wonderful meal they had a good variety of ice creams to choose from. Ana our sever did a great job checking in on us, refilling our soup and bringing us more items while we ordered, she was very friendly and kind. I would also like to mention that they had a very clean and hygienic bathroom. I absolutely would highly recommend...
