Horny Hog BBQ — Restaurant in City of Niagara Falls

My favorite food in the entire world is barbecue and this did not disappoint. Ordered the oinky boinky meal for $27.99 and it came with two nice slices of brisket. A big huge portion of pulled pork and two spare ribs. The sides we chose were macaroni and cheese and coleslaw and it comes with a biscuit. The macaroni and cheese was great could have used a little bit more flavoring so I did add barbecue sauce. I was not a fan of the coleslaw but that just might be me. The meat itself was absolutely mind-blowingly. Fantastic. The ribs fell right off the bone. The brisket had a nice burnt edges to it and was very flavorful and the pulled pork melted in your mouth .Hands down One of the best barbecue places I have been to in a long time. Highly highly highly recommend. The barbecue sauce itself had a nice kicky but not hot flavor. The staff was very outgoing and friendly and answered any questions. I had. Some of the worst food I’ve ever had. I’ve never left a review but this was bad enough to do it. The cheesecakes mixins were just soggy and not a good texture. We asked for ketchup and plastic cutlery and didn’t get it. We walked across the street to A&W from our hotel to grab some because I couldn’t eat the fries and burger without it because the flavor wasn’t there for either. Travelled here for my honeymoon and wanted to try as many local places as possible on our trip, out of the 7 local places we’ve had across the country this was the worst and possibly some of the worst food I’ve had in general. If you’re a tourist looking to try new places, I wouldn’t recommend here. Would recommend trying Adrian’s Custard and Beef if you’re looking for this type of food and also trying to stick to local places. This place was exactly what I needed after visiting the Falls. The fries surprised me because of the sweet cinnamon smell but there is so much more to them. Perfectly seasoned. Got the Whole Farm and wish I would've taken a picture of it before just downing it. Every bite was delicious with all the meats being so juicy and moist! My wife liked their pulled pork sandwich as well and couldn't finish it. I ended up getting the pulled brisket potato to go because their BBQ is just amazing and wanted something for later. Little did I know the potato is easily bigger than my hand. The owners at check out were amazing. Easy to talk to and the husband is an Army Vet. If we're ever up this way again will definitely eat...
