The Red Rooster — Restaurant in City of Pewaukee

Worst lunch & service ever. There were 16 people, we called ahead to make sure we could be accomodated and assured it was ok. food was received greasy & cold. Tacos were unseasoned meat or fish with lettuce, cheese, tomato on soft shell. No taco sauce served with it.. Some of us received and were charged for unordered food. Some didn't receive food at all. Had to go to bar to find out where food was for those who were waiting. Half were done eating by the time rest got their food after the waitress had to reverify orders she took.One person never got her meal. Manager said there would be a discount on our bills but none was given.. waitress blamed mistakes and service on individual checks. she also complained about other customers not tipping. If she would have done her job we would have been in and out in less than an hour. Got there at 11:30am and didnt get our bills until after 1pm. Unfortunately for red rooster this group belongs to a local athletic and bad news travels...

Ate here on Good Friday and waited over hour after our early 4:10 pm just to get seated. After being seated and order was taken we received our drinks and soup right away and waited over an hour and twenty minutes for our food! We questioned this several times while waiting and were told that it was coming! Now mind you that at least 2 tables around us that were seated after us got there food ate and left before we even got our food! This was just awful we were there 5 of us celebrating my moms 88 birthday! We were comp a round of drinks and the waitress finally admitted she made a mistake! If they wanted us to come back we should have been comped half of our meals! Also 2 of the people in the group eat there a couple times a month! This was a terrible experience and recommended calling ahead to reserve if 5 or more because as we were there over 3 hours the reserve table sat empty we should and could have been seated and left before the reservation under usual...

I have eaten at Andreas red Rooster many times in the past and the food has always been good, as it was today. However, in the middle of getting back out to eat after 3 months of Covid19 quarantine, I was sadly disappointed by their current lack of regard for the health of their customers. The menus are still used without cleaning between customers, the condiments were on the table and obviously not cleaned between uses because they were visibly dirty. I took my soda to the bar to get a refill and the bartender took my straw out of the glass, refilled the drink and dropped the same straw back in my glass She was not wearing gloves nor washing her hands between customers. My family has been doing their part to help restaurants with carry out meals during the last 3 months. All others have been very considerate of the cleanliness. I will continue to frequent these businesses but will not go back to Andreas Red Rooster due to their...
