I really appreciate that a place like this exists. It was so much fun to celebrate a Birthday here with more sober people than alcohol drinkers for once. The non-drinkers felt prioritized in a social space that was very calm and enjoyable. I can’t say enough about the vast selection of NA spirits, beers, wines, bubbly - great options and selections. Loved the gold espresso beans in my NA espresso martini.

Some opportunities for improvement. I got a specialty monthly martini and was excited to try it but what I got was overpowering and unbalanced. I had a hard time getting through it. Another member in my party got the same drink, made by another bartender, and the drink was entirely different and frankly much better than the one I had. For about $16 I was a bit disappointed. We also were sitting right at the bar and a few times we sat with empty drinks in front of us having to get the attention of the bartenders, especially when we needed to close out. It also was a bit pricey, which I can understand the costs of NA spirits may be more, but these costs felt similar to big city prices...

I absolutely loved this place! I heard about it online as I was looking for an alternative to the traditional bar scene and I was not disappointed. It's everything you would want for socialization with none of the drama that comes from traditional bar venues; a very comfortable setting. I spoke with Meg and Bob at length about how their business venture has gone in the last year as it was their 1 year anniversary and it was an honest conversation as they were very down to earth. I suspect Altbar will be a staple in the community for a long time to come! I highly recommend checking them out! The drinks were amazing, tasteful. This place was fantastic! I've never had a mocktail before, but after trying the "(don't) spill the tea" I will definitely be back. The bartender was very friendly and explained everything. The menu is clearly labeled so you can have the truly 100% non-alcoholic drinks. There was also a great variety of cans and bottles to take home. The vibe was great. I will be back!
