Salvatore's Old Fashioned Pizzeria — Restaurant in City of Rochester

I placed an order on July 4th at 7:30 pm. I didn't realize they closed at 8 or I would have thought twice as to not hold then up. (Didnt realize this till 8:45) Either way the whole experience was a mess.i tied to call 3x at 8:45 and had no answer and rhe shop was closed. At this point I assumed I was not getting my meal. No big deal will get a refund the next day. I then went and got food elsewhere. Nope that is not how it happened. At 9:45/50 they show up at my door apologized sorta. Hot sub was barely warm, cold subs had cheese partially melted from sitting next to the hot sub for to long. None of the subs were made correctly. So I didn't even get what I ordered. I called next day talked with owner/manager. Said didn't know if could do a refund as he had already cashed out for the day but would try. He had offered store credit first but I refused as I had experience with this and it doesn't work or it is a very small amount. This was a 65.00 plus order. I waited a couple of days to see if he could figure it out and then called back when I hadn't heard anything. My response was a curt no refunds and them ended the call. I used to order from here weekly, then became maybe monthly because of all the mistakes. Then it became rare now never again. Customer service sucks. I did make a complaint to the bbb. Spent almost $60 through Door Dash 1/21/24 to deliver my food from the Lake Avenue Salvatores. Never again for ordering from this particular Salvatores or using Door Dash to deliver. Called and spoke to the person who prepared my order and they weren't very friendly or had a concern about the presentation of the meals Door Dash handed me or the missing items. I ordered the fish meal. The roll, butter, lemon, ketchup was missing even though the preparer said he placed it in there. The box had no seal on it to protect the Dashers from tampering with the food and eating it which what it looks like happened. My fish, french fries, onion rings looked like someone shook the box to make it look like there was a lot of food scattered around. I also ordered a double cheeseburger with onion rings.Some of the ingredients I asked to be on the cheeseburger wasn't there. And the onion rings was old tasting. I ordered two peanut butter cookies and two M&M cookies. Tell me why I got four M&M cookies that tasted like they were expired. I ended up apologizing to my guest and threw it all in trash. Since Door Dash refused to refund me my money back this is what I am doing to make others aware in case they order from this...

I always ordered from you guys because you're right around the corner from us. Tonight i called the girl at the front desk that answered the phone was very rude. i placed the order before I can finish she hung up. Then when I called back she continued the order and hung up again. I called a third time and asked to speak with the manager with answered the phone very unprofessional! He did read back my order and gave me my total finally and never once apologized for his staff/employee. After i picked up my food which totaled close to $45 dollars, I get home and i could count how many fries came with my chicken fingers of 5 count for $13. 14 fries came with my order. when i called back to ask why i barley received any fries the girl said "we weigh out our fries to 8 oz" and hung up. I am so disappointed with the service of this location this wasn't the first time the people been rude but it was the last time I will never order...
