Sobrinos — Restaurant in City of Rochester

My wife ordered food today from here $70 worth through Uber Eats and we order through there from them all the time right and never have any issues with delivery the food nothing besides today today was horrific for us and let me explain at 2 p.m my wife placed the order and paid through Uber Eats priority and all 2:30 Uber Eats said the order was being picked up by driver then it was assigned to different driver Uber Eats reps told us that first driver left because the restaurant was taking so long in preparing our food so we waited for another driver yall it’s 3:00 now other driver came left Uber Eats telling us we can cancel but we are not eligible for a free cancellation in getting our money back because we are not eligible for it so we wait 3:30 3:40 4:00 our food finally makes it here we tip the driver an extra $10 because she waited at the restaurant for our food for 40 mins this restaurant bad business and I will never order from here again nor recommend to anyone ever horrible service

Edit: upon receiving our order we order an octopus salad the octopus was over cooked dry chewy the lettuce soggy tasteless we threw it away yuck and that’s what we spent most of our money on y’all want to know what we ate my daughter said no to the pernil the yuca alcapurrias were soggy like they had been taken straight out the grease we ate the bananas the ketchup mayo dip one alcapurria and the rice and beans that was all like I said...

DELICIOUS!! I am currently going through chemotherapy treatments and for several months have had an awful time with food either tasting like nothing or tasting awful-- homemade, take-out, everything. Sobrinos, though was AMAZING! I ordered a medium lunch with salmon, yellow rice, and beans. Not only was it delicious, but I was finally able to ENJOY, not just eat, and I was able to finish the entire meal and not feel sick afterwards!! We often don't realize, and take for granted, the small things that make life worth living (like tasting and enjoying a meal), and I was no exception. I can't thank you enough, Sobrinos, and will definitely be ordering...

This was my first time going. I am hooked. I am a black woman who loves to eat ribs. I didn’t know what to expect but i was hungry and on a lunch break. I walked into Sabrinos and the display got me first. It was gorgeous. They had an array of food to choose from. I chose the large meal with two proteins. Madeline took care of me. Thats what got me next. Lol. She was sweet and welcoming. Very accommodating. Nice serving amount and the price… $13. 😳🫢🥹🫡❤️‍🔥 When i got back to work and tasted the food… 🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️🥳🥳🥳🤩🤩🤩 I am so impressed. I made a Snapchat with the food just to send to my kids. 🤣😂😂😂 Great food....
