Review update 2/14/25 great food as always although we did have a big issue on pickup we had called at 5:17 i showed up to pickup the order around 5:45 they were incredibly packed which is understandable for the date I did however become very frustrated due to the additional wait time I about 4 other people pick up their orders that came after me while not the waiters fault probably a mixup in the kitchen around 6:25 i was ready to leave and cancel the order as my family was waiting to eat and go somewhere else one of the staff said 5 more minutes I waited a bit longer and it came out.when I went to pay the staff stated it was "OK" and gave us the order for free im assuming because of the wait.i couldn't believe it at first as the order was prolly over 100 dollars or more. So I offered to pay again and he stated "your good". The level of service it takes for a restaurant to take a 100 dollar to make some random person like me happy is unheard of in this area .so this experience is not a normal experience for this restaurant the service is always quick and good they just had a extremely busy night that they were probably somewhat unprepared for but they are definitely worth coming for not only for the food and drinks but for the incredibly high regard for their customers satisfaction as well. I just had to share my absolutely AMAZING experience at El Jarocho Mexican Restaurant and Bar. Seriously, if you're looking for authentic, mouth-watering Mexican food, look no further – you've found the jackpot!

From the moment I walked in, I was blown away. The recent makeover is gorgeous! The atmosphere is so warm and inviting, like you've stepped right into a family fiesta.

But let's talk about the food. Forget everything you think you know about Mexican food, because El Jarocho is on a whole different level of deliciousness. Every dish bursts with authentic flavors, clearly made with fresh ingredients and a whole lot of love. I honestly think it's the most authentic Mexican food I've had outside of Mexico itself!

And here's the best part: the prices are unbelievably incredible! You can enjoy a truly fantastic, filling meal without breaking the bank. It's rare to find such high quality at such affordable prices these days.

Finally, I have to mention the friendly atmosphere. The staff is so welcoming and attentive, making you feel right at home. They truly care about providing a great dining experience.

Would NOT recommend. I have been here a 2 times and neither time was a pleasant experience. The building looks likes its falling apart on the inside. Ceiling tiles are gross and discolored from obvious leaky roof. It was raining on my second occasion there which wasn't enjoyable with a drip catch bucket not far from us. The chairs and tables are old, outdated, and worst or all sticky/dirty from inefficient cleaning. Similar situation with the menus, sticky and not taken care of. I was there for a lunch function. We arrived before the lunch rush. There was what seemed like only 1 waitress running around trying to do everything and then a person that would only come out to deliver food. Poor staffing lead to long wait times and a huge lack of service at the table for anything we needed. Drinks went unfilled most of the meal. When we finally got out food, it was wrong for a couple people and nobody got what they ordered placed in front of them as they just set the food down and didnt ask who had what. On top of that, it was overpriced for what you ordered. I will not be visiting again. I went a second time as a comparison but the second was worse then the first due to staffing (or lack thereof).
