Our Original Pizzeria — Restaurant in City of Schenectady

Okay, I love Originals' Pizza! It's fantastic! If I was rating them for their pizza alone, they would get 5 Stars! BUT.... My experience with the woman who answered the phone, prompted me to write a review. I ordered a pizza by phone instead of online so I could ask pricing questions. I ordered an 8 cut with sausage and mushrooms. The pizza with cheese was $9.75, I asked how much toppings were, she told me $2.00 each. That would make the total $14.85, with tax. Order taker told me 45 mins, but never gave me a total. When I spoke to my boyfriend after he picked it up, he told me the pizza was $18.??. I called Originals, told them what happened and asked how they came up with that figure. Her rude response was, that's what the prices are. I told her what their website said and she couldn't care less! I asked to be refunded the difference because they have to honor their website prices. She got mad, and hung up on me! What type of people are they hiring? Change your prices on your website or honor them!! You now lost 2 customers and I will pass the word how unethical...

I called on an order for a simple cheese pizza with ricotta on it. I originally wanted a four cut and they said “we don’t have that” (which makes no sense if it’s made fresh) and so I spent the money to get the next size up which is an eight cut. Got loaded fries and garlic knots. The pizza was so thin that I couldn’t even grab a slice without it falling apart and the second I took a bite it tasted the ricotta tasted sour and no good. So I said ok whatever and went for the garlic knots which I found dog fur on. When I went there after the 25 minutes they said it would be I had to wait at least another 10-15 minutes. The quality of the shop was disgusting and I will never go back and would never recommend this place to anyone. If 0 stars was an option that’s what they would be getting. Highly...

DONT LOOK ANY FURTHER! "OUR ORIGINAL" HAS THE VERY BEST ITALIAN FOOD IN UPPER STATE NY! Their pizza is to die for, THEY MAKE REAL ITALIAN MIX SUBS WITH ALL THE ITALIAN MEATS AND THEY ARE HUGE! All the Italian Dinners are all made with wine, fresh spices, and garlic, and taste just like momma made them in Italy. The Wraps are delicious. The slice the meat as you order it, no pre-sliced ANYTHING! EVERYTHING is always fresh and delicious. HUGE Salads. And OMG the BEST home made Cheesecake in the world. ALL of the portions are huge. I get 2 meals out of anything I order! And the owners are wonderful, kind, and straight from Italy, so they bring the real taste of Italy to NY. And they even deliver. Ya cannot go wrong.
