The Coffee Tree — Restaurant in City of Sherrill

I’ve ate here several times and continue to come back because the food is fresh and delicious, but the last 2 times Ive had issues with the food and service. First time they forgot to put chicken on my sandwich. I brought it back and they put cold chicken on my hot sandwich and handed right back to me. Did not taste right. Second time I went with friends. Each of us paid separately. Mine was the last order. Almost everyone was done eating. We watched the cashier serve other customers and walk past my sandwich waiting on the shelf 3 times. I went up to the counter and waited while she waited on a customer. She then walked past me into the back room. When she came back through she said “can I help you?” “Yes can I get my sandwich? It’s been on the shelf for 5 minutes.” She turned and handed it to me and walked away. The cashier seems very uncomfortable waiting and talking with customers. Maybe needs some more training. We want to support small local businesses, but when I’m paying $18 for a sandwich, chips and a drink I also don’t want to feel like I’m bothering you just to get...

My friends and I had the best experience hosting a baby sprinkle at The Coffee Tree last week! Everyone was raving about the lovely decor, the delightful drinks, and the scrumptious food. We brought in flowers and a few items but everything was set beautifully, with the added bonus of awesome lighting coming from their windows for perfect photographs. Kathy led us with a coffee tasting and then Kaylee gave us a charcuterie class that left everyone convinced we needed to attempt a board for ourselves in the future. The whole team was great. Kaylee was especially great to work with and very responsive during the planning stage and Kathy was a joy, superb at giving our group great attention and making sure we had everything we needed. Kathy also makes amazing soups herself there and we loved her clam chowder. Though, EVERYTHING we tried was delicious: sandwiches, salads, drinks, pastries, soups, the list goes on -- highly recommend The Coffee Tree...

Cute cafe. Really wanted to love it because the it had all the right elements to be amazing, but everything just fell slightly short of it's promise - which I think was even more disappointing?

Our offee order wasn't made correctly. Disclosure: I didn't give them I'm the opportunity to fix it because the other drink (chai latte) tasted really bad and we asked them to change it to a latte. The latte tasted better.

I ordered the avocado toast add an egg over medium . She said they could do over easy, I was okay with that. It came out scrambled. I ate it anyway. It still tasted good just a different texture.

Breakfast sandwich wasn't warm enough to melt the cheese. The cheese was still cold.

Sweet roll had so much frosting we scraped about half off. The roll flavor was good though.
