Not being familiar with the menu, we decided to place a takeout order for the "Polish Feast for 2" which provided a sampling of a number of their dishes. A nice surprise was that the restaurant placed the two portions on two separate plastic-covered, divided plates. A small container of horseradish cream sauce was included. I'm not sure what it's intended purpose was, but it served as a wonderful condiment for the potato pierogies. The hunters stew was also very good, although the promised toast was missing. The stuffed cabbage, however, was a disappointment. It had very little tomato sauce and the rice and ground beef filling seemed to be absolutely devoid of salt. When I added some ketchup (probably a travesty) and lots of salt, it perked up quite a bit. The amount of each component of the dinner was generous, except I would have enjoyed a little more kielbasa and sauerkraut. Next time, I'll probably order the kielbasa dinner. Overall, getting one of their "Feasts" (they also offer one for 4) is a great way to be introduced to a number of...

Went here for dinner before heading to the theatre. Very friendly staff, we were greeted and seated right away. Get there before 5:30 on a Saturday though because it gets crowded. Very crowded! It was very close quarters with the other tables in the main dining area with the bar at our backs. Dinner itself was very good. Almost everything was tasty. In our party of five, none of us were thrilled with the cabbage dishes but the rest of the food was very good tasting. Service was a bit on the slow side as they got busier but was still very acceptable. We did not have dessert because there was no menu. Instead we were to look at the dessert case and figure out what we wanted. Because we had people in our party requiring special food needs, we thought it best not to order anything as we couldn't nail down a server to explain all of the dishes to us. It was so crowded when we left, that we could barely get back out the door. Well worth it to go on off peak times though. And they're supporting Ukraine so that was an...

Having known Eva for a few years, I’ve never had a chance to stop in to her place to have a bite to eat. I’m beyond happy I did! This review is not biased by any means because I am not one who will write a review for someone just because I like them. I wasn’t even sure if I’d be seeing Eva tonight to say hello but regardless my visit to this wonderful establishment exceeded all of my expectations. From the beautiful traditional polish decor to food and staff friendless, 5 stars is not enough. You can tell that Eva and her staff put their hearts and souls into what they do. Very warm welcoming, and fantastic food, this place is an absolute must. A little spot located on Milton Ave you feel like you’re at home and treated family. Eva managed to pop in and unlike a lot of business owners she actually got to work serving customers with that amazing glow and smile of hers. I highly highly highly recommend...

Was a bit pricey but I have not had much for traditional polish cuisine in my life so my wife and I tried a lot of the dishes. One by one they had their own unique flavors and consistencies that we tasted our way through. The meatballs were very light in a unique gravy that was covering a bed of potatoes. DO NOT go here if you don’t like potatoes. We had a great time, the service was attentive, & the drinks were top notch. Only one tasted a bit too minty but they took that off the bill. The 2 reasons this didn’t 5 star were simple: the server said the dessert was chocolate peanut butter cake and it was just plain peanut butter cake & we didn’t eat our leftovers. For a 25$ meatball dish I would’ve expected to go back for 2nds but I never had the urge. We want to go back and try the pierogis and the chicken.
