We liked it. Good and ok... Portions were huge. I had Veal Parm, wife had Eggplant Parm, and a stuffed long hot App. Everything very tasty, sauce a bit acidic (personal taste), Eggplant slices, freshly cooked and thick, which is fine but a bit under done/chewy. She had homemade hats that she loved. Veal was super tender, breading a bit thick. The one thing that was almost a deal breaker was cheese on veal was a mozzarella cheddar blend, and possibly pre grated type? Flavorful but the Brooklyn in me wants Mozzarella:-). Waitress were super! Good desserts offered. Small place, atmosphere was so so. Could have used a little more ethnic vibe to it in my opinion. I would go back, wife probably not?

Ok I hadn't been back to Utica in a couple of decades. Was up for my cugino's wedding weekend. One of my Utica bucket list items was to find a great Italian restaurant....well Joey's @307 DID NOT disappoint! I'm trying to find the words to describe just how good it was....it blew my mind.. it was that good. I hadn't had that good of Italian food in all of Raleigh NC. The customer service was top notch. šŸ‘Œ The new owner of Joey's ...Matt.... treated me with such genuine kindness and made me feel welcome back in Utica. If visiting Utica or live there put Joey's @307 on your MUST visit agenda!!!!

Went out for a friend's lunch today and decided to try Joey's 307 per the phenomenal reviews I've seen over the past 5+ years (I can understand why, and can't believe it took us this long to find this hidden gem! ) AND they are now open for lunch!! We ordered a few items to share (which was not a problem at all) the food, the atmosphere and the service were ALL spot on. Calamari (Providence), The house antipasto, stuffed long hots, and an order of greens. Can't wait to go back and try more of what chef Matt has to offer! Thank you for a wonderful lunch and wonderful conversation šŸ˜‰

Amazing chef, Matt Grabski, from Joey’s 307 on Mohawk Street in Utica, proved to be an excellent choice for a caterer for my step-daughter’s beautiful wedding this weekend! My step-daughter is a chicken parm connoisseur, so she selected it for one of her wedding meal buffet entrĆ©es, and Matt’s chicken parm received outstanding reviews!! He also provided a bountiful grazing table with a wide variety of choices, a marvelous chicken marsala entree, a delicious Italian sausage with peppers and onions entree, pasta with a choice of two delightful sauces (a red sauce or an Alfredo sauce), a beautiful vegetable medley, a fresh and crisp tossed salad, and tasty Italian dinner rolls. As if this was not perfect enough, he also prepared spectacular mini cannolis in a variety of flavors, which complimented the coffee bar he supplied. In addition, we had family members with food allergies and Matt was also able to make accommodations for them as well! Matt’s professional demeanor and well organized business practices made working with him a breeze! Thank you, Matt, for making a memorable meal for the wedding!! And we thank you and your wonderful wife for your attention to detail and for providing it all at a price we could afford! I strongly recommend that you book Matt Grabski for your next catered event - the feast he will provide will exceed all of your...

My mom and I went to Joeys for lunch today 5/15/18. The building was small but could easily fit 60-65 people, only 4 parking spots out front. Nice simple decor, very clean bathrooms! The waitress was very pleasant and the service was great throughout. The bread they served was light and airy and delicious. The eggplant parm that my mother ordered was delicious, she said it was seasoned well, and the marinara....she could eat plain, it was so good. I ordered homemade cavatelli pasta with marinara, and a meatball. Here’s where the chef ruined the dish... when you take the cooked pasta out of the hot water, you want to shake the water off the pasta, you want to shake it off really good. Because when you add marinara sauce to water soaked pasta, it has a slight vomit taste. I used some of my mother’s marinara and it tasted better. When I heated up the leftovers the extra water had evaporated and the pasta and sauce tasted a lot better. The meatballs were amazing, not overly seasoned, and not fatty, which was refreshing. I am not writing this place off just because of soaked pasta, it definitely has a lot of positives, and deserves...

Very pleasent setting for dinner with the wife. The atmosphere was calming almost like you were at a family friends home for dinner, and the staff were very attentive! The water and sodas filled anything we needed was taken care of fantastic service. Now to the main course thee "FOOD" OMG everything was absolutely amazing , We enjoyed the calamari as an app , I had the chicken Joey and wife had the chicken riggies. I am a former chef and I know how good it feels to hear how good the meal was so with that I asked the waitress to please take a moment and let the chef know that the meal from our table was amazing and thank you for making our night out! Yes we will be back and yes I'll be screaming from the rooftops about how good Joey's @307 is and...
