#1 pizza in utica!! #upstateny #uticany #pizza #pizzalover #pizzaplaces #oscunizz #onebiteeveryoneknowstherules #bestpizza

This was my first experience with an "upside-down" pie, and I loved it. The crust was dense; somehow chewy and crispy at the same time. You couldn't see the pepperoni, but you could surely taste its flavor. When the pie is served, it appears to be uncut. But it's actually sliced perfectly, so it's super easy to grab a piece without everything sliding off. The sauce, sprinkled with grated cheese, is flavorful. And you should try the finely ground hot pepper flakes. ... The building seems a little sketchy, but who cares? It's downtown Utica. Wasn't expecting a palace. The two men behind the counter were efficient, if not exactly warm and cuddly. The pricing is a shade high, but not worthy of a legitimate complaint. The pizzeria has been operating for more than 100 years, so it's pretty obvious that the folks behind the business know what they're doing. Nothing fancy going on, other than flavor.

First off...the staff was NOT friendly! We ordered a 3 topping large pizza and 20 wings. The pizza was made incorrectly, so they remade it. When we finally got our food after 30 minutes...the pizza was overcooked (burnt on the outside crust)...but was otherwise edible. Not bad, but still overcooked by about 5 minutes! SCORE...C/C-. The wings were, by far, the worst part of the meal! They were WAY overcooked!!! The "fatter" of the wings we could eat, but most of them we threw in the garbage!! We certainly did NOT order them crispy!! The photo doesn't really show just how overcooked (aka burnt) these wings were!! SCORE...D/D-. The owner wasn't even apologetic about it!! Obviously he doesn't care...like most business owners!! Yet they keep raising their prices anyway! $65!!! 😔😔😔. Terrible meal!! I'll stick to Joe's Pizza and Trio's Pizza for much better "upside down" pizza!!

O'Scugnizzo Pizzeria sells the best pizza in Utica!! They have so many different food options besides pizza, which also puts this place on the top of my list for lunch and dinner dates. Some of the other foods include Chicken Fingers, Tomatoe Pie, Pasta, Mac n Cheese, Chicken Riggies and Subs. The staff are super friendly and courteous and very good at what they do. The parking is not that good but the building has a few parking spots on the side as well as the parking in the front. The place gets super busy during peak meal times so you might wanna plan ahead if you're crunched for time. They deliver too which seems really convenient for the locals. The atmosphere here is great and it has a nice family setting. The dining room has lots of tables and chairs for large groups. Kids will love the arcade games and claw machines. The dining area does get pretty crowded and if you don't like sitting near people while you eat you can order ahead and grab it and go. I think the most impressive thing about their pizza is that Barstool Sports visited and gave an 8 out of 10 star review. They have pictures for proof. I think anyone that visits will have a good experience and will keep on coming back. 5 stars for sure...

Without a doubt my favorite pizza place ever i been going here since i couldnt see over the counter as a little boy. The sausage pizza is just the best they do a layer of sausage then cheese then sauce. The sauce is rich and traditional the pizza isnt super greasy and is held together really nicely its so perfect. The best part of their pizza is when you reheat it splash alittle water on it when reheating it to give it some hydration and it just absorbs it the grease the cheese and the sauce all soak into the bread so you get a super goey chewy pizza thats honestly like no other pizza ive ever had chefs kiss cannot give it enough praise. I also love their salads and their subs the meatball sub is my 2nd favorite item on the menu the sauce is so good and the meatballs are homemade none of that dinos meatball crud you can tell these were freshly maid and not some mass produced food. Finally the wings are also the best ive ever had none of the wings are small or some kinda of mutated lookin piece of meat like little Caesars wings they are good in all flavors especially that bbq sauce they use. When i leave utica this pizza place will be the thing i...

I left a 5 star review in the past. I called today to place a delivery order and I wanted to pay over the phone as I have done in the past. The employee was extremely rude and said ā€œthey will bring a card reader. I don’t do that.ā€ I explained I had in the past and that I’m not at the location and wanted to treat employees at MTS. He then said ā€œconsider yourself lucky in the past because we don’t do thatā€. I said okay umm… and he hung up on me. I’ll spend $100 on pizza and wings elsewhere. Never again doing business. The food is great but the service is something I’ve never experienced. Awful!! To top it off my husband called (who I was trying to buy for him and all of his employees) and he spoke to a female who was also very rude and said ā€œmaybe if you were a hospital spending over $300 we would take a card over the phoneā€. He buys his guys lunch there at least twice a month. Well, Nina’s now has our...
