Ricks Famous Juicy Burgers — Restaurant in City of Utica

Wondrous place at which to get a quick bite with the family! The burgers are delicious, the shakes are some of the best I've ever had, and I will remain a recurring customer.

Food: The burgers are beautifully presented and taste delicious! Unlike most places, it is clear the place has standards in their food presentation. The burgers are not sloppy and are easy to eat without making a large mess. The vegetables they use are all fresh as well. I do wish the burgers were slightly bigger for the price. No worries, though. The sweet potato fries are great too! I prefer mine without salt. And the shakes, ooh the shakes. Drinking one of these will certainly kill your diet, but they taste so good! I always go for strawberry. They don't add syrup to their shakes, and they have a thick consistency! You can ask them to make it extra thick if you're traveling afar and prefer to take small sips. On another note, contrary to my initial thoughts, their pistachio shakes are pretty good!

Comparing this place to a Fast Food joint would be a mistake. I could see how some might given the simplicity of the menu (burgers, dogs, fries, etc.). That said, everything is super high quality, right down to the heavy duty napkin and the crisp clean packaging. I've been a couple times with my significant other now and tried a little bit of everything. The shakes are everything - thick, creamy, bursting with flavor! The burgers, chicken sandwich, and fish sandwich are all on point - and surprisingly not messy to eat. I really don't understand the complaints about price to be honest. Two people can easily eat here for just over $30 (maybe $40 if you opt for shakes) which is cheaper than most sit-down restaurants. Given the calorie count, I don't think we will making this a weekly stop, but it will definitely be a staple when we want a tasty shake, burger/sandwich, and fries/onion rings. Also, the only place I've been that makes a Pistachio Shake - easily one of the most underrated flavors ever.

PS: We tried Rick's once through DoorDash, and the packaging was awesome. Most restaurants wrap everything up so tight that it is moist and losing its texture by the time it arrives. Not so here, everything was still crisp, fresh,...

Tried twice, because you cant judge off once. Milkshakes, great. Burgers/fries/ tenders were okay/good enough. Used kiosk in store & theres no option for no cheese on kids burger or really any actual modifications... but there was an option for no cheese for kid chicken tenders..makes sense. Burger was really dry 1st time and fries rough.. 2nd time burger was better but fries had some seasoning on them I didnt ask for and they were for a kid. Did not recieve sauce with tenders..pointed it out and asked for a couple while I while cashing out with a brownie and the girl charged me for both of them.. when I asked why she charged me for 2 after seeing reciept she replied she thinks the order only comes with 1 sauce.. I then replied then why didnt you just charge me for the 1 not included? It was .70 extra, not a big deal, didn't bother any more than that but distasteful enough to not return even though the milkshake is craveable.. so...
