Well, what can I say? It was definitely a dining experience like no other, one I’ll never forget. My family and I waited 2 hours, did not complain to our waitress or the restaurant’s manager. In fact, she addressed us willing, no request necessary. She did not have a problem informing us our food was not ready and would not be anytime in the near future. And to top things off she said, “ I can’t tell you when your food is going to be ready, cause I don’t no your ticket number, I just know it won’t be anytime soon.” At that point I wondered, exactly how did she even know we were waiting, especially when we where so content waiting. We were enjoying our time together, no rush. Then it dawned on me, the place was starting to empty out. We’d watch people enjoy their meals and leave already, and we could barely get a glass of water, being that the waitress disappeared for long intervals. We were unwelcome guests. The manager all but spelled it out during her approach. She spoke directly to me with an attitude that all but spelled out the words, LEAVE AND DO NOT RETURN. At first, I did get why she chose to direct the conversation at me, my parents were picking up the tab. But then it all became clear, my white parents and my white husband weren’t the social misfits, me and the other two brown faces (my children) were. I did not write this review to bash this establishment by any means, only to point out the obvious. Truth be told, I would have been okay with them asking us to leave two hours prior. I want to apologize to my parents who came all the way from N.C. they’ve looked forward to trying this place out for sometime and my children for not feeding them dinner until after 9:00 because these people did...
Read moreWe went to Ives Hill restaurant for the first time for Mother’s Day. When we went there, the table wasn’t ready and we made it 3 o’clock reservation but they worked hard to get it ready. They were out of the fish dinner which two of us wanted so we had to pick something else and then when two of the dinners came, they were the French dip sandwich with pork on it, but pork shouldn’t have been on it and neither of them eat pork. Then when the two other dinners came out which were melts, the toast was burnt and it was black. We did not enjoy our experience and would hope that someone would read this review and improve on the process. The waitress was gracious and felt very bad and gave us two dinners for no charge which we appreciated. All five of us were disappointed with our dinner on...

I played this course in August 2017. The difference from my last experience was incredible. The course was in great condition this year. The staff has always been incredibly friendly and helpful, whether in the proshop, the beverage cart, or the bar. They're top-notch.
Back in July 2016, the greens were in terrible shape, some of them had 4 inch divots in them, as if heavy equipment rolled through the back nine and nobody could be bothered to fix the damage they caused.
The fairways were mostly dead, and most of the course hazards were just...
