The wait time is absolutely ridiculous. I’ve only eaten here 3 times and every single time, I spend my entire lunch break waiting for my food. The first time, it took 43 minutes to get my food. The second was 52 minutes. I’m wondering what it will be today. I’ve watched 3 cars leave the drive thru today because the line just wasn’t moving at all. Oh, and the customer service is terrible. The car before me waited 15 at the intercom before they actually took her order. After I waited at the intercom for about 5 minutes, I said “HELLOOOO!”. The employee said “Could you hold please?!”…. Then, I waited another 10 minutes before I finally said, “I’ve been waiting long enough! I’m ready to order.” Then she took my order. (By the way, I’m still waiting in line while I type this long review. So you know I’ve been sitting here a while if I have time to type all this)…. But anyway, back to the customer service. They don’t acknowledge the customers at all. They just have us waiting a long time unless WE (the customers) let them know...

Both of the workers that served me were pleasant and attentive, but it was the FOOD that still has me talking a week later! It was SOOOOO good! The fish was crispy, hot, and perfectly flavored. The cook told me it was going to be the best I'd ever had at any other Captain D's in Memphis where I live...AND IT WAS!
Quite frankly, I was shocked because I did NOT expect it to be that good, but it was. So much so that I am considering making another trip to Clarksdale just so my husband to understand what I've been raving about. He's shocked because I don't usually write reviews and people's food rarely gets this reaction from me.

Read moreI ordered a water with my meal and the cashier charged me $2.79. When I saw the price of the drink on my ticket I asked her about it. She said that she had to charge me for a drink. I think she should have told me that I would be paying for the drink.So I told her to take it off. The manager was sitting at the first table, she told her to give me $2.79 cash out of the drawer. She was too lazy to get up and rering the ticket. I paid tax on that $2.79. I let that go. My husband ordered a soda with his meal and it tasted very flat. He didn't say anything to the staff but another customer complain about the flat drink. They gave her another drink from the drive through and it still tasted flat. When I got to my seat, it was so hot in the building that I had to fan with paper towel the whole time, that was there. I did not have a good experience...
