Rice Bowl — Restaurant in Clarksdale

I had a taste for some takeaway. Passed by and decided to check it out despite appearances. We walked in, and the lady at the counter looked us dead in our face and looked back down without saying a single word. We left out without ordering due to the lack of acknowledgment. As we were about to leave, a white lady from Pafford medical services pulled up. We followed her in, and sure enough, she received a greeting! I don't care how good someone's food is said to be. No one will be getting my business/money without the proper respect. It is a reflection of how they view you and, in this case, those like me. No food is worth my own...

Sadly disappointed with my experience from this weekend. I love this place, anytime I come home Rice Bowl is a must. I consistently brag and recommend this place to anyone who is coming through Clarksdale. Sadly, I will have to warn anyone if the young lady with glasses is up front to turn around expeditiously. She was horrible, condescending, unfriendly, and clearly didn’t want any business at all. It’s very sad because the food is great. Very rude service! I ordered the two egg rolls, and was told they would be $3.50. The customer in front of me forgot to order him two with his rice. She told him $3.00. He ordered additional soy sauce for $.25, and his order was $3.50. I asked why so much for mine, and she told me the taxes makes it $3.00. The sales tax on food in Clarksdale is 8%.
