Pearl 88 — Restaurant in Clarksdale

This is probably my first food review they deserve 5 stars for sure. Everything I tried was great. They have one of the biggest menus ive chose from. They have plenty customers but still recognize our voice otp when ordering. You would really think black experienced cooks was cooking their soul food. The rice isn’t better than rice bowl and rice bowl rice isn’t better than their new competition in the little red bbq place beside them. Highly recommend anything on the menu but surprisingly I recommend the soul food more. You would never know they was cooking the soul food. Absolutely great...

I absolutely love this spot and I eat here everytime I'm in the area... for those that don't mind eggs and shrimp. I'd strongly suggest you getting the shrimp egg foo young. I believe if you get a large, it comes with 6 patties. The gravy is good and it comes with white rice as well. Disclaimer, they do put bean sprouts in their patties but I love it, that's my preference. The food is good but soul food is better. For an Asian restaurant they do a good job of implementing southern deltas soul food cuisine in their menu (a soulfood plate=$7.50?).
