Krispy Chic — Restaurant in Claxton

I haven't eaten here in years, but the chicken is still the most crispy chicken I've ever had. The taste has fallen off a bit, but it's still delicious. The mashed potatoes and gravy are straight up KFC. Some people like that, I do not. The biscuit was tiny and under cooked. About what I expected. The drink selection was fine, if you only wanted coke or tea. The tea was good though. Staff was friendly and efficient. We had our food within five minutes. My wife had the chicken sandwich and was very happy with it. The breast was about an inch thick and very crispy. They know how to cook their chicken. The fries taste hand cut and were fresh as well. Our bill was under $17 for two adults. Over all, this is one of the better chicken restaurants in my area. Strong 8/10...

Haven't had this chicken since it left the rincon ga area, used to love this place. The chicken and everything was fresh , tasted good just not that same taste from way back. The fried corn and potato cakes are delicious. Only thing I didn't like Is as we paid ..i noticed the manager steady watching my cousin, he then ask the worker didn't she only pay for one drink, when in reality she paid for a drink and paid for a cup of ice , which is what she got! He must thought she wanted an extra soda for ice purchase...and if he was looking as hard as he did he clearly saw her put ice in one and sat on the counter, other than that the cashier and other staff...

I really like the chicken fingers here but am beginning to think that I will have to find a new favorite place for chicken fingers. As the chicken fingers keep getting smaller and tonight is the second visit that I have purchased a Finger meal which is supposed to have 4 fingers and only received 3. When I asked about it I was told they were having to cook more and would bring it to me when it was done. I have now finished my meal and still haven't received my 4th finger.
