Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Clay District

I understand English being a second language and wont condemn them for not being completely fluent, however if you're going to be a place that delivers you absolutely have to be able to communicate the information properly. They need someone that is a bit more adept as speaking the language to take calls.

This language barrier is a huge problem. It has led to many of my orders being messed up and judging by other reviewers it has also led to many other frustrations. I dont expect exceptional customer service (in terms of please and thank yous) due to cultural differences but the order has to, at the very least, be correct.

This being said the food is never consistent. Sometimes it's good, sometimes the contrary. They dont make these dishes carefully. Also there is tons of chicken bullion used in the mei fun (assuming they are subbing for the more expensive golden curry) and its is God awful.

Go somewhere else for Chinese food. Literally anywhere else in the tri state...

The food looks ok, good even. But, everything was way overcooked. The chicken was grey under the breading (which fell off btw) and really chewy & stringy like it had been sitting for a few weeks in the fridge. I'm not entirely sure it even was chicken. Rice was mushy, not like the sticky kind you'd expect, more of a flavorless paste. Even the veggies were mushy.. completely terrible. And that's just the food. The staff hardly spoke English, and the place was filthy. Like something out of a rob zombie movie.

Worst restaurant I have ever eaten at. The service was horrible and the food was even worse. The man who delivered my food was extremely rude and as I was signing the check he loudly spit right on my porch. My food was horrible. There was no flavor to it whatsoever. Me and my girlfriend both took one bite of our food and threw it away. What a waste of 25.00 bucks. I will never eat at this place again and I highly sugggest that no one else does either.
