Irish Pub — Restaurant in Clay District

The last 3 times I have visited me and my crew have left because of the foul attitude of the same bartender. She has a serious attitude problem and if it were my business I would not tolerate her petty behavior. She gives attitude and talks about patrons to her friends loud enough for just about anyone to hear, and she will openly tell you she doesn't care. I find it very sad that she is single handedly sinking that business. Other weirton bars are thriving since OH is shut down. Save yourself time and just go to shooters just down the road. There's always people there and it might not be as nice as the pub but the overall atmosphere and staff are far better. I bartend for a living so trust me...

Wouldn’t normally leave a bad review on such a petty issue however after working food and beverage and many night clubs and bars as security I just thought this was absurd. 2 of my buddies and I were here from out of town. Stopped in for lunch. One is 21 with a valid I.D not expired, a class a cdl endorsement! We come in and without even greeting us bartender demanded I.Ds. The bartender refused him service because she said the info on his I.D wasn’t sideways? Rude as well. Just don’t understand the reasoning. Definitely not a “typical dive bar” wouldn’t ever recommend let...

Typical dive bar. Food was good. Fresh fries and the blue cheese was actually melted on my burger which had a huge burger patty. I was told the patties were made in house. Bartender was very good, always around waiting to help out, he even offered to change the television to something else if I wanted, never caught his name, seemed like a good guy though. Didn't accept credit/debit cards. Of course there was an ATM, it felt like an obvious and unnecessary upcharge.
