Nelle Belle's is a must see and go. You won't be dissapointed. The restaurant is small but the food is just about the best you can get. Truely a diner style setting in every sense from the pick a stool at the counter, or grab a booth and check out the menu type place. Don't look for eggs benedict or anything fancy on this menu, just good delicious home cooking. Started with a great cup of coffee, perfection, strong, hot, and invigorating. Placed our order and no sooner than I could finish saying how good the coffee is, here's our food. When the very nice waitress (wish I knew her name) asked if I wanted gravy when placing our order, I just said yes and wondered "gravy on what"? Suddenly in front of me I have a huge plate with a 3 egg ham and cheese omlette and hash browns SMOTHERED in gravy. Next thing I know, I'm looking down at an empty plate and a feeling like I had just experienced what heaven must serve for breakfast. The ham was plentiful with lots of gooey cheese from end to end. Not like some of these places where you have to look for the ingredients and get a few bits of ham in the middle with a few bits of cheddar if your lucky. I could have not been more satisfied. My plate was clean by the end. After paying our bill, even though I felt I would not eat another bite for the rest of the weekend, we asked for a menu to plan our next visit. My husband and I had the best breakfast for less than you would pay for two people at any fast food place and 1000% more delicious. They really should raise prices as I was shocked when we got the bill. Good for you Nelle Belle's and...

The place is tucked back behind some decorative plants in a weird corner lot. If you don't pay attention you will blow right by it. It was nice spring weather so they left the doors open. Walking in I was greeted by what I'm assuming are regular people and immediately got a table. I had never been there but I thought the place felt kind of cozy, with randomness on the walls and that old school diner kind of feel. Kind of like town topic with more room and tables. I listened to conversations between the people and the waitress and you could tell she knew them and even remembered their usual orders. It's usually a good sign when people return often. I ordered a special and added eggs. The food came quickly and it was as good as you would expect it to be. Biscuits and gravy were good and it was enough to fill you up. Eggs were great and the bacon was too but who complains about bacon. The prices were very affordable and I would definitely go back. If you are looking to get away from the jacked up prices of bigger places and just enjoy a meal in a quiet little establishment this is a great place to try. I would have never found it if I hadn't been near there killing time before an appointment. Glad I found it because places like this are harder to...

My friend and I went to Nelle Belle’s for a quick bite and the entire experience was absolutely phenomenal.

My friend ordered the biscuits and gravy special with western scrambled eggs and hashbrowns. I ordered the fried egg sandwich with bacon and cheese. The egg sandwich was delicious and absolutely everything you’d want in a “country egg sandwich”. The biscuits and gravy were great and the scrambled eggs with hashbrowns put it over the top. With both our food, the drinks, and tip-we spent less than $30. The food was exactly what you’d want at a diner. The restaurant is clean, the decor is quirky in a great way, the service was exceptional, and they have really great napkins (I know it seems weird but I really love it when a place has napkins that don’t disintegrate in your hand haha). The staff was also super accommodating when I asked questions and requested a substitution.

Nelle Belle’s is like stepping back into my grandma’s kitchen and being enveloped in the loveliest sense of down home nostalgia. Please do go visit them, enjoy sitting at the front counter, or tuck away in a back corner table—you won’t be...

Hold on, wow! This place was wild! As soon as I pulled up to the pink building i knew i was in for a treat. As we stepped inside we were transported back to 1987 where smoking was permitted and cleanliness was an after thought. This place instantly made me think of pre fire LC's hamburgers expect it's his old trailer park, ugly, pregnant, smoking sister. Not quite as good but anxiously waiting to see what will happen next. Need to use the restroom? A trip thru the kitchen, past the deep fryer and the guy smoking at the grill, and you find yourself decending stairs to the basement where you hope you'll escape. Seriously though, the food was fine. Tenderloin was huge, breading had good flavor. Hamburger was good but nothing special. Onion rings were my fav! The guy that sat next to us and started smoking was a turnoff for my sister but to me felt nostalgic of an 80s truck stop. Worth it? just for the experience and the giggles i get when I think about it I might go back to try the biscuits and gravy.

Whenever you find a hole in the wall place, it is a must that you go. This place is old school which I love deportions. The portions for breakfast are huge And and it's cozy, just like diners should be. The only thing that cost them a star was that you can smoke inside. I do understand that in Missouri it's allowed in some places, I personally think where there's food it shouldn't be, but again my opinion. Food was good, service was spot on and it's a diner. The food is very reasonably priced for 2 of us our bill was $30
