Irma's Place — Restaurant in Clear Lake

The food was great. Don’t hesitate to stop at Irma’s Place. We were here on a Saturday morning and they were BUSY. Good food sells and people were coming and going the entire time we were there. Friendly wait staff. The kitchen kept up with the orders pretty well. We ended up waiting for 30 minutes after we ordered, but that’s only because they were so busy. I loved the biscuits and sausage gravy. So much sausage. Thick. I can’t be sure, but this is likely the best gravy I’ve had. I’d go back just to eat the biscuits and gravy again. We had an incredible meal and experience at Irma’s today! After a short (and perfectly acceptable delay, as we were told there would be a wait) a woman came and said they lost our order and it would be out shortly. We were completely fine and understanding, our meals came quickly and they were incredible! Hashbrowns were CRISPY without being thin and burnt, eggs perfectly runny, sausage gravy was the perfect consistency. I could go on but then I’d be hungry 🤤 . They gave us complimentary mimosas and discounted our meals. If drive 2.5 hours back just to eat there again! Absolutely...

At this time, Irma's Place has been opened for about a month. They are crushing it on all fronts. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Even when the restaurant is filled it isn't too noisy. The food comes out at a steady pace even when busy and is oh so tasty. I've had the Biscuits and Gravy & the Western Omelet and would gladly have each again. They serve lunch and have well priced specials for that period. Delicious coffee. Hoping they stay around the community for a long time as I LOVE coming here to start...
