Raising the Bar Sports Pub — Restaurant in Clear Lake

This is a great place to eat and have a good time! I have been here a few times and have tried a few different things. Each meal I have had has been amazing and I have had no complaints! So far, I recommend their chicken sandwich (it’s really filling and the chicken is big!) and the sweet potato fries if that’s your thing. I am really excited to try their meatball sub in the future (the only reason why I haven’t tried it yet is because they were unfortunately out the last time I was there). Either way, I am sure I will be able to try it soon and I’m sure it will be great like the rest of the food I have tried so far!

Updating my review from a year ago... I have become a frequent flyer for Raising the Bar. They bring so much to the community. There always seems to be something going on here and are always doing what they can to support local community groups. Friday Fish fry is delicious. Different daily specials. Bingo on Thursdays. Frequent karaoke on Saturday evenings. I have had an absolute blast getting to know the staff and the owners who are on property that also help their staff! Do yourself a favor and try one of their loaded Bloody Mary's. Can't go wrong with anything...

Pizza is definitely not hand tossed or made to order. It is a pizza from the grocery store, like a Jacks pizza, covered in slightly more cheese, and they use a shaker of some variation of garlic salt, onion powder, lowrys seasoning salt, salt and pepper to cover it up. Once I seen the bottom of the slice I was immediately surprised to see them selling these tiny grocery store pizzas for 12+ dollars. What a shame, never again.
