I would like to begin by stating I have been eating Ally's Pizza since they opened around 1990. I was in school at Sunset Jr High and we would stop in several times a week. I have such fond memories of stopping in there. I have been a customer ever since. We have not been going out to eat much since the pandemic started as I am a caregiver for a high-risk person and need to be very careful. Our family needed a treat so we decided to order delivery. We logged into grubhub to see which local company we wanted to support. We ordered 12 pizza rolls and 6 garlic rolls and a salad and waited excitedly for one of my favs. Our order took 45 minutes and was wrong when it arrived. We received 1 pizza roll, 1 garlic roll (was burnt) and one salad. Our card was charged $38. I was unsure what to do as our card was charged for the amount of food we were supposed to get and the grubhub driver said she verified with them 3 times as she said there was no way it would fit in what they gave her. They assured it was right. We called Ally's to see what to do and the girl that answered basically told us it was our fault for ordering through grubhub and not calling Ally's directly. She said so do ya wanna order something? If we want to eat the salad we got and then order the pizza rolls and garlic rolls and it would be $15. I said ok I guess I can't really feed my family with what I received. So now our card has been charged and is in dispute with grubhub and we will still need to pay for this order. She took my name, phone number, and asked if I was picking up or delivery. I said no I need delivery that is why we used grubhub someone will need to bring it. She took my address and was not really very pleasent and said it would be out as soon as it could be. I said ok. 1hour and 45 mins later no pizza rolls, no garlic rolls. 😢. Even though it was Saturday night and snowing I had a feeling they weren't coming. I called to check the status of my order and was told that I had cancelled the order. I said excuse me but no I did not. I have been waiting an 1 hour and 45 mins for you guys to get here thinking it was the snow. That's after my first 45 minute wait. My kid is starving and begging for food. I was told there's nothing he could do. There was no sorry for the inconvenience, no I'll get that right out if you still want it, nothing like that just there's nothing he can do and a very rude attitude. I asked to speak to the manager and another guy got on the phone. He also offered no apology and said I cancelled the order. Why would I be calling to check on it if I cancelled it. I never cancelled it. He asked if I wanted to order again. I asked how long as our original order was placed at 5:30 and it's now after 8:30 and I needed to know as it's the kids bed time now and there was no food. He said he didn't know. I asked if it would be next in the oven or if I was at the back of the line again. He was again rude and said it takes 20 mins to cook but other then that he didn't know. This time I DID tell him they could go ahead and cancel it. My kid had a frozen dinner at 8:45 then right to bed. I have never been treated so rudely when all I was doing was trying to support a local business. They blamed grubhub for the first error but what the heck happened the second time. Will probably never order from there again the experience was so bad. I am very...
Read moreIf you want to pay upfront, wait in vain for hours, not be able to contact anyone, waste your money and pay for a service you never receive, then by all means, order from here. But seriously, anyone looking for good pizza delivery that's reliable, this IS NOT THE PLACE!!! STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!! I truly always try and keep my business local and support the small, independent businesses of a community, but I ordered my pizza almost 2hrs ago, paid for it upfront and have yet to receive it. When I try to call the "business" phone number, it's actually someone's personal cell (maybe Ally's??) which goes straight to voice mail and, shocker, the voice mail box is full?!?! So, I have paid for a service that I apparently will not receive! Poor customer service, poor service, poor execution and I will leave reviews any/everywhere I can and tell everyone I know and strangers, too, to avoid this place like the plague as it obviously doesn't care about happy, repeat customers within its own community!
Update: I want to apologize as, by giving one star, I left some semblance or degree of quality and hope for good food/service. My order finally arrived a full 1hr20min after the estimated time and after not being able to reach anyone. My pizza was cold, the cheese hardly melted and the dough/crust soft and half-baked, apparently like the ppl behind this establishment. I get it gets busy, I am happy to wait, but again, having to do so for such an exaggerated time, not having any form or way to communicate when I tried to (of course no one here once tried to reach out) and then once the food finally does arrive, to have it sloppily put together, under-cooked, and just all-around bad, to me just shows the lack of care & concern this place has for it's paying customer's, which makes me sad being I now am forced to order from one of the big multi-national pizza chains if I ever want pizza...
Read moreMy family ordered off of doordash some pizza and things for dinner. Come to find out after I order that they don't even really use doordash they do their own deliveries so you pay more for doordash and then they deliver their own stuff. I found this out because it had been 75 minutes since I ordered and I still didn't have anything and I live less than a mile away from this location. The lady first tried telling me that they never got my order but some dude called me right after I submitted it for clarification about something. And once I told her that then she admitted that they had gotten my order it was just really busy. Also I ordered a salad and the lettuce was basically rotten. My husband did not like his pizza he said it tasted like a microwave Pizza it was supposed to be thin crust it had a regular crust my calzone was good and the pizza rolls were good. But I can't give them higher than a one-star rating for giving me a salad that was full of rotten pink lettuce. And after all this the manager said we could have a $5 discount. Our pizza was over an hour late and not even warm I had to call seven times and spend over 25 minutes on hold in total to even talk to somebody. They just answer the phone and immediately put you on hold don't even talk to you and then never pick it back up. A $5 discount's joke because I'm never going to order...
