Castle Donuts — Restaurant in Clearlake

This is one of the places that comforts me about the culture shock that happens when you move to Clearlake. The people are nice, the coffee is good, the drink selection is interesting. The donuts are delicious, and the foods are some of your best options for a quick breakfast in the area. They have ham and cheese croissants with and without jalapenos and two kinds of fried egg rolls. Many bagels are grab and go ready. Smoothies and Boba, too. Right across from a park where you can see the lake up close. Do not let your dog out children get in the water, the algae can be dangerous. But it's gorgeous for listening to the waves and bird watching and really neat water plants... Plus an astounding view of Mt. Konocti and a pretty...

Still dreaming about the humongous apple fritter... best apple fritter that I've had in years! It was amazing - just the right balance of crunchy fried dough with apples. That donut would have easily been sold for $6+ in San Francisco.

We also tried another donut with chocolate glaze and Oreo cookies. Classic yeasted donut and I liked that the chocolate glaze wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. I wanted to try so many more donuts but had to make myself walk away.

You will not be disappointed in any of the donuts here, Castle Donuts is legit! They also have a selection of savory items like bagels and sandwiches. I didn't get to try their boba tea but was thrilled to see a shop selling boba...

This donut shop is great! There donuts are delicious. There lite and fluffy not oily or greasy. They have every kind of donut you can think of. They also have blended coffees and boba tea also blended. I have not had a drink or a treat from here I didn’t enjoy.

My daughter loves the holiday donuts and the chocolate milk. My wife enjoys the croissants and a hot mocha coffee. I enjoy the maple bars with a vanilla blended boba tea. My dad enjoys the cinnamon rolls.

They are also set up for COVID-19 with shields and wearing masks. Only a couple of people allowed in at a time. They always...
