I recently ordered takeout from Pompey's Seafood, and I must say, the experience was absolutely fantastic! Even though I couldn't dine in, the quality of the food and the care in packaging ensured that I enjoyed a top-notch seafood meal right from the comfort of my home.

The ordering process was a breeze, thanks to their user-friendly online system. Everything was well-organized, making it easy to browse through their extensive menu and make my selections. The staff was also very helpful over the phone, offering suggestions and ensuring that my order was exactly as I wanted.

I opted for the seafood platter, which included a generous assortment of grilled shrimp, scallops, and a beautifully cooked piece of salmon. The seafood was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The spices were spot on, enhancing the natural flavors of the sea without overpowering them. The platter came with sides of garlic mashed potatoes and seasoned vegetables, both of which were delicious and well-portioned.

The highlight of my meal was definitely the crab cakes—packed with chunks of tender crab meat and very little filler, they were among the best I’ve ever had. Each bite was a delightful mix of crispy on the outside and moist and flavorful on the inside.

Walked in and was greeted with a friendly smile by Malcom who helped us choose the best options. I so wanted to try the gizzards but they were sold out-they must be good! We had the garlic snow crab platter and had them spice it up a bit, so buttery and flaky. We also tried the garlic shrimp platter which had plenty of large shrimp and both had delicious butter soaked potatoes and corn on the cob too. Then we had the fried catfish with seasoned fries. This is a take out only location and all the better for it. When we picked up our order we got to meet "Little Pompey" who was rang us up and thanked us for our business. It's a hole in the wall type establishment. It's a take out spot. The food and service is excellent. There's no air conditioning, but there is a high power floor fan that makes it tolerable. There are some chairs to sit and wait for your order to be completed. It's in an old neighborhood strip mall with a convenience store, barber shop, and smoke shop. The card machine is sometimes down, so cash may be necessary. There's an Atm machine in the convenience store next door.
