KJ's Caribbean & Soul Food — Restaurant in Cleveland

I decided to take my tastebuds to Cleveland’s KJs Jamaican Cuisine. The food was amazing tasty, spicy, & plentiful. I love Jamaican food. If you want a real Jamaican food experience go visit KJs in Cleveland’s Uptown Harvard area.. I ordered the Jerk Chicken with cabbage & rice. The food was delicious flavorful & really hit the spot. Jamaican food usually is highlighted by Jerk Chicken & the several spices they cook with. I highly recommend checking this quality great service restaurant if ever you’re visiting the Cleveland area. This was my 2nd time eating here & im sure it won’t be the last. Here is a view of the meal I ordered. I hope everyone enjoys this fabulous establishment & share your own experiences. It's crazy bc the vibe is 100% Jamaica but the food is horrible. I ordered restaurants pasta i did not know came with baby shrimp i mean the type of baby shrimp thats thr size of the tip of your finger for 17bucks to add insult it came with a red sauce. I would have fought thru eating the dish but it was nasty. I called was told to come back for a refund or new dish...I was hungry so I opted for food. I got curry chicken,rice and cabbage....the cabbage was the only thing edible. The chicken seemed old but reheated I mean the food was piping hot. Bc the dish I originally got was 17 and the dish I replaced it with was 7+ cheaper I asked for a beef patty. The lady snatched the plastic bag up did not say a word to me the entire time, packaged the patty and handed me the bag. Bc I was hungry I took a bite of the patty ...it was horrible. I will never go here again or recommend any one go here bc the attitude of service n the food match. Nasty work...

The older cashier is rude as hell, I can not stand that lady. ALWAYS has an attitude! Then when u pick up your food and tell her your name she rips the fxckin bag open to see the name on the sticker. Wouldn’t make more sense to put the sticker on top of the bag?! Double bag it and put the sticker outside the bag; it’s not rocket science. Then the bag stinks, her hands be wet from who knows what! Getting the bag wet…like I do not understand it. She can’t tell the difference between DoorDash delivery pickup and regular customer pickup. U don't have to confirm a personal order on the app I know because I work for DoorDash. I try to be supportive because I’m from the area. The location used to be an ice cream parlor that I loved growing up. Lastly, I worked with one of the guys there at the hospital but I’m cool. The food...
