Pica Pollo West — Restaurant in Cleveland

My husband and I stopped in just a little after 1pm for a quick lunch to take home. My first impression was, I don't think I've ever seen such a clean restaurant before. Not only that I had just stepped in and the staff greeted us with such a warm genuine welcome. We ended up splitting a 4pc tender with fries, dipping sauce (tasted like yum yum sauce), coleslaw, and cornbread. The food was prepared fresh from order. We waited about 10 mins to receive it. In that 10 mins the staff was soooo friendly and nice they let us try a beef empanada (which was super delicious) and after noticing the handmade specialty drinks I just had to order 1. So I ended up getting the passion fruit drink. OMG it was so light and refreshing. I drank most of it before we even left the parking lot. In the car I took a bite of the chicken and fries while it was piping hot. This isn't your average fried chicken. The way it was seasoned has that beautiful Dominican flare to it. It had a touch of heat but nothing that leaves you reaching for water. After our initial bite we put the box back in the bag and drove home (35 mins). After arriving home I couldn't wait to dive in to this great food. To my shock, my food was still pretty warm even the fries. The only thing I'm disappointed in is myself for not buying the flan or tres leches for dessert. This place is a 10/10 and we will be returning for more...

Customer service was amazing The food is right up my alley coming from New York and being here in Ohio with not a lot of different flavors, I was excited to bump into this little gem . The garlic shrimp and Platanos are so good . Reminds me of the food in the resorts in Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 My kids enjoyed the fried shrimps and Platanos and french fries . My husband loved there fried chicken and moro rice that was fire 🔥 that rice aint come to play and there coconut flan dessert was yummY 😋 . Lastly the restaurant is very clean i am very Ocd and i love how clean this restaurant was . Customer service is amazing family owned smells good but yet perfectly ventilated that your hair and your clothes don't smell like food when you leave there, I love it 😻 Thank you . Wow! I am so impressed with Pica Pollo. I have been unknowingly driving past this restaurant for several weeks before it finally caught my eye a few days ago. I am lucky to have stopped there today. When I walked in, I immediately took notice to how the restaurant looked and smelled. And, it looked and smelled extremely clean! As far as the food goes, the chicken was (for me) differently, but deliciously, seasoned and cooked perfectly. Moreover, the service was friendly and welcoming.
