A quick trip from Republic, a new find! There's a pretty good selection of your typical Chinese food from Cashew or Sweet & Sour Chicken, General Chicken, stir fries, teriyaki chicken & more. It's pretty fairly priced - regular sized orders start around $6ish dollars to large size starting close to $8. The amount of food you get with each meal is decent too (although the amount of rice you get is kind of small & looks plain). Our family chose a large order of cashew chicken, a regular order of orange chicken, a regular order of beef & broccoli, a regular order of chicken teriyaki, 2 orders of crab rangoon (4 pieces in an order) & 3 soft drinks. The total came to less than $45. They're open for lunch, close from 2:00p-3:30p, then reopen for dinner until 8:30p, Tuesday thru Saturday. The dining room is small with a few booths & a couple of tables. We typically have a family of 6 & would've taken up one of their 2 big table set ups. The only strange thing that happened was around 7:45p, they completely stopped taking orders - call in & walk in orders! Not sure why but if you plan on coming in after 7:30p, I would call first so you can avoid any disappointment or heartache. We will likely come back again! The food was good, quiet atmosphere &...

The host/cashier was helpful in identifying a dish I saw on their Google pictures that didn't have a title(spicy Mongolian chicken). I tried their spinach crab Rangoon and was very impressed. I'm no professional food critic, but the food here was especially good Chinese food in my opinion, for a very good price.
The restaurant is small. Too small for the amount of business they have. It looks like they only have one or two(very talented) cooks, so the wait is kind of long. If you call in takeout, I think that would work out for the best. We decided to dine in and waited about 35-40 minutes. Again, worth the wait. They also let us know up front. I just think if they expand, they will...

We moved to the Clever area a few years ago and the only downside is that all the Springfield restaurants are now 30min away. I was leery of trying Lucky Panda since we moved here, but finally gave it a try last week. They use all white meat in their chicken dishes and the portion sizes are fair. $25 for three dinners seemed like a decent value until I tasted the food. Lucky Panda’s fried rice was simply steamed rice with flecks of egg in it and the sauce on the chicken was the same sauce with slight variations to make it orange, sesame or general chicken. Bland flavor may bode well with the locals, but this is not...
