Pleasant experience overall. The atmosphere dining right at dusk was ideal. Having the option to sit and eat outside, and admire the changing hues of the surrounding ridgelines under the lighting of the setting Sun. Combined with the joy of families enjoying one of the smores kits available at the restaurant, to be enjoyed around a roaring fire pit set right out front of the restaurant's patio. But considering the price point, and the setting/placement of the restaurant the attentiveness of the staff could have been better. The pizza, and beef carpaccio were both good for their price point. Whereas the smashburger, well I've had better burgers for cheaper in dive joints. Normally neither issue is anything that I would be too discerning regarding. But considering the setting is a restaurant representing the Homestead resort. I would expect to hold both quality of food for price point, as well as top tier service accountable considering the reputation the resort has to...

The food here was good, and I don't have any complaints about the food. However, the service here is horrible. We went this past weekend on Saturday, and got there about 3:45 to eat. We waited over 5 minutes for anyone to ever come seat us. Once we finally got sat, we waited 18 minutes before anyone ever come to get our drink order. The waitress took our drink order, looked at my wife and asked what she wanted to order. After my wife ordered, she walked off. I had to say "excuse me, I'd like to order also" to even place an order. The food came out and was good, but the waitress only checked on us once after that. We were excited to eat here, but the place was a bust. Also to add, the prices are on the higher side. I had a hamburger and my wife had some french fries. We both had a soda, and our total was over $60....

Waited almost 30 minutes just to get drinks and a food menu, then another 20 to be served. Food came out cold and burnt. Portions were also tiny and prices are high. Overall super disappointing to pay $140 (before tip) for a 5 inch wide bowl of soup, a burnt/dry/cold hamburger, and drinks for 2. Drinks were also quite weak which was disappointing too. Nice looking place and staff was friendly, but super slow service and not worth the high price for what I’d consider pretty mid to low quality food and drinks :( We did really enjoy the calamari though!
