31 South Grille and Deli — Restaurant in Clinton Township

I always like to give roadside grills the benefit of the doubt. I often stop at these as I work on the road. This one was particularly bad.

When I arrived the exterior was unmaintained. I figured all right maybe it's the landlord. I went in, the inside was also not maintained dingy and dirty.

I ordered a breakfast sandwich, I opened it when I got back in my car the roll was soaking wet I discarded it and went to eat the insides, something was up with the eggs and the meat did not taste good. I didn't even get through the first half. I think that's the first time in my life that ever happened.

Even if this was the worst sandwich this place ever prepared and I was guaranteed of that, I still would...

Never judge a book by its cover. 31 South Grille and Deli has delicious sandwiches, burgers, and chips. I personally had the Aunt Terri which is a BLT sandwich with roast turkey and avocado on whole grain which was soooo gooood. The owner cares about the quality of his food and the customers needs. The Deli and Grille offers a large options of beverage choice including Joe Ice Tea (not many places have this delicious brand of Iced Tea). I surely enjoyed my time with the friendliness of the owner and cooks. Great prices, family-friendly, clean, and happy. I will definitely come back to 31 South...

Came here for breakfast with my daughter and we both agreed, the food is phenomenal. The 'Answer' breakfast wrap is fantastic and I'd argue to say, one of the best wraps I've ever had. The owner is the nicest guy that's upbeat, engaging, and one HELLUVA cook. The egg on both our meals was scrambled perfectly. Soft, airy and tasty. My daughter loved her sausage, egg and cheese sandwich so much, she wants to make this our staple go-to breakfast place after swim practice. I can't wait to stop by here for...
