Pub West, as the sign out front says, seems to go by another name once you're through the doors. The heading on the menu displays a name relating to it being on the train tracks, though I don't remember it exactly. I haven't had pizza since moving to the area 2 months ago, so decided to give this place a try. We started with some chips and salsa, the chips being homemade and the salsa likely brought in, but both were pretty good. The cheese cubes were also on point, with a nice breading and cheddar on the inside. The kids hot dog (the pub is pretty kid friendly, but in this case not all of the patrons were) looked to be premium quality. I didn't try it myself. The same applies to my wife's cod. She liked it, and it looked good, but I didn't try it myself. Now onto the pizza. I got the "meat lovers", which name implies there is a lot of meat. In fact, there were many types of meat but not much of it. The crust was more traditional, not thin crust which I personally prefer. The flavor was pretty yeasty, again not my preference. I would say the quality of the pizza was decent, but not really my cup of tea. I often find the food service at pubs like this to be somewhat shoddy, the emphasis being on the bar patrons and the food service feeling more like an annoyance. I will tell you that was not the case here. The staff was the perfect amount of friendly and attentive. I will go back to Pub West, or the railroad track inn (or whatever its second name was), but not for the pizza. The burgers look good, and I'll likely explore those next time. If they can impress me, I'll be adding a star for my updated review.

This was a hidden gem. Nothing fancy. Frankly is you blink you'll miss it. But we stopped cause we were hungry. I had the Rueben and my husband had the trackside burger. The Rueben.... OH MY GOD. Freaking quality!!! It's no lunch meat filled sandwich. The bread so crispy and fresh. I ended up eating ghalf of it before I remembered to take a picture. My husband said the burger was good with all those yummy toppings. This is a must stop if you're traveling Rte 30. Don't miss this gem.

The food was delicious ๐Ÿ˜‹ Homemade hamburgers๐Ÿ” were great. I didn't like the cole slaw but if you like it peppery, try it. Good place to come watch football ๐Ÿˆ or any sports! I think the ๐ŸŸ fries were a little mushy for my taste but ok. This is a hidden gem! The bartender definitely needs some help but he does a great job getting to everyone. You go back in time at this place. About $15 per person to eat. Nice ๐Ÿธ ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿป๐Ÿท๐Ÿฅƒ๐Ÿฅค

We were a group of 8 returning from boating from the State park. Everyone was starving!! Let's start off with this place looked like a dump and smelled like a dump. The service was good but the food was awful!! 6 out 8 people ordered burgers and the meat was hard as a rock and tasted as if had been frozen for years. As hungry as we all were I thought even bad food would taste good. Wrong!! Don't waste your time or money. You'll leave hungry and...
