Recently relocated to the area. My daughter & I stopped by this petite bakery. Awesome selection. We opted for a few glazed croissants and a Chocolate cake. Melissa was simply great which is why I'm giving this place Five-Stars. Her colleague, unfortunately treated us as though we were invisible by allowing I'm assuming someone she personally knew to skip my daughter & I. The interesting thing is, you can tell the establishment can use any/all business/support. In fact, my family and I are strong believers in shopping local in an effort to patronize within the community. However, it's because of actions as such as these that makes it difficult/impossible to do so. Melissa, hopefully you see this. Please continue to be great regardless of those around you. The sweets were great, but their sandwiches are overpriced for the quality and the quantity you get. They use iceberg lettuce, you pay .50 extra to get a thin piece of cheese, you get 2 small slice of ham, the croissant sandwich bread wasn’t all that fresh (disappointing coming from a bakery) and you have to put your mayo in the sandwich yourself, not practical when you get it to go. I bought the soup and it tasted good... regular vegetables soup, but again way overpriced 3$ for something that look less than a “cup”. The only reason they get 3 stars is really for their sweets which are very good, for what I tasted of the sandwiches I wasn’t impressed and...

Eating at Burneys is always such a treat! It's such a pretty restaurant with lots of seating and friendly service. The new Apple Harvest Salad was delicious with the apple cider dressing. Although I always love the glazed croissants, I chose the chocolate cheesecake which is amazing! Of course, I had to take home some of their chicken salad and pimento cheese, which are family favorites, to enjoy later.
