Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Clinton

Always love the Clinton DQ. I miss the little driving range they used to have there in the 70's and 80's. Get your hot dog and ice cream, and then whack a few golf balls, to see how far they would go. Wish they had more picnic table to eat outside at. Can't go wrong with their Strawberry Cheesecake Blizzard, and I love the new Oreo Brookie Blizzard. Only complaint I have, would be there Banana Split, which used to be called a Banana Boat. It should have stayed that way. See, a long time ago, they used to use a whole banana 🍌, cut in half. Now, they take half a banana, cut it into slices, and they cheapened it. Also, they used to make it a lot bigger. The ice cream was way more than it is now. They used to give you jimmies, walnuts and three cherries, with real whipped cream. The way they make it now, I got less ice cream, you have to pay extra for Jimmies and nuts, they put FAKE whipped topping (chemical cool whip,) and only one cherry. Would have given you guys 5 stars, but you'll need to go back to making the Banana Boat, the way you used to, for...

As usual the treats are what is expected, 5 for quality and value. Customer service this 2023 season is horrendous. Ordered 12 slushies, Girl was inattentive and lacking cs skills. Asked me over and over what I wanted for flavors. Pretty easy 3 flavors 4 each=12. Only 9 slushies were made. My response to her inattentiveness was simply "for real, i ordered 12 and repeated it so i asked for the receipt. Nope she was so distracted 12 became 4,4 and 1. Her coworkers took over for her by giving me attitude, and making faces at me. Before I left I spoke to the staff and told them "you don't treat customers this way and let's see I wasn't the one who made this mistake". They continued to give me evil eyes and lope sided snears, never taking their eyes off me as I drove away. I think some young ladies need customer service classes. Ice cream is always good . BUT this will be the first bad review I have written . Everywhere there is advertising about Dairy Queen promises to flip your Blizzard around in front of you, or you will receive a coupon good for a free Blizzard on your next visit. This has been advertised since 2016 . Most of the SAME girls work here every summer for the past couple of years . This is the first time my blizzard has never been flipped , and when I asked very kindly about it (to the girl I see working yearly ) I was given attitude and told "I don't really know what that's all about" I kept asking multiple times and got no where , but didn't wanna make it a big enough deal to get a manager ........ false advertisement and unknowlegable employees , not willing to go out of there way to find something out for you when it had to do with THEIR companies false...
