My partner and I checked out this little local spot for the first time a week ago (8/31) and had a great experience. We both tried the specials of the day. He had a Cajun Chicken Pasta, I had the Grilled Salmon, and both were delicious. I got a Lemon Lavender cookie and it tasted as good as it sounds. We also each tried a hot signature coffee; he got the German Chocolate, and I ended up getting two Grizzly Bears. The coffee alone is worth a visit. The service was good, and we weren't in need of anything for long because Ms. Michelle and Ms. Vonda were so attentive and conversational. We also learned that Ms. Vonda makes all the desserts in the restaurant from scratch, and they take custom orders. It was a positive experience for us and we will be back. Hard to beat a place that is full of local color as well as flavor.

Amazing place, nice, quaint and love the open kitchen model. The food was very reasonably priced and the quality of the food was too. Burger was fresh and the home fries were something I hadn’t experienced before those alone make it worth going back for. The desserts all looked stellar too! Round 2 the next day, a chicken salad croissant that knocked it out the park, it was a tough decision between that and the daily special, egg salad. The croissant was in bun shape, a first for me but so unique and delicious. The cafe potato’s (previously I mentioned as home fries) were once again delish. Also had the pork and white bean soup, first time trying it and now I’ll be looking for a recipe 👌.

I absolutely fell in love with this place immediately. It's so comfortable and the energy is amazing. Home cooked meals, watching "mama" walk around in her apron gathering her baking ingredients. The food was so good! I cried a little (I'm just an emotional person) because I felt like I found my "home" diner. We just moved to Clinton last June and have been looking for a place exactly like this. My husband loved his breakfast burrito and I had the French toast with chocolate chips on top and a side of "taters". I LOVED the taters. Can't wait for our next visit

Quick visit to Arkansas and found this gem!

We tried to go to Huddle House but we have a group of 6 so it was too packed. We called down to Joe & Hash who enthusiastically invited us down to eat on their beautiful back patio and since bit was only about 3 min away we took them up on their offer.

We are SO glad we did. 🎉 It was quiet and beautiful area to relax without the hustle of the indoor restaurant. 1000% happy with the atmosphere.

As you can tell from our pics..we were hungry! Eggs and hash was on the specials menu and was devoured! Many got the biscuits and sausage gravy which all said was very good. The sourdough French toast was a hit and the breakfast burrito and bowl were very delicious. Thr baby tried the blueberry pancake and was covered in blue juice. 😋 Our only suggestion is to improve the individual bacon and sausage sides.

Also, they serve specialty coffees of which we had the iced and hot German chocolate cake flavor and an iced caramel macchiato. You should try the GCC! It's a favorite. 💯

All in all it was a great choice to visit Joe and Hash and we'd come back the next time we're in...

She loved it very much and she also got the breakfast bar and was very pleased with that as well. We got the Pork Tenderloin lunch special and it was okay. It was lunch. It got really weird after the meal.

When I got the check, I noticed they charged us a fee to share. This extra charge was never mentioned at the time of ordering nor anywhere on the menu. As I was paying, I told them that I disagreed with charging a surprise fee. The over-zealous assistant manager got irate and accused me of making his employee cry. He told me to never come back to his restaurant. I wasn't even asking for anything. I just wanted to let them know I didn't agree with how they handled charging a fee without telling us on the front end. As we were about to leave, one of the workers let us know the manager had refunded our bill. Definitely a roller coaster of a lunch. Honestly the free meal wasn't worth the drama.

Avoid sharing a dish and avoid interaction with the bi-polar manager. Or if you want things to get weird,...
