Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Clinton

I used the app to order ahead (the app is great, btw), and set the pick-up time for 5:20. I arrived at 5:18 and checked in with the app. It loaded my order onto the stall screen and said that it was in the kitchen, so I patiently waited for it to alert me that it was on its way. At 5:29, it said that the order was on its way.... but when it still hadn't arrived after 10 minutes, I pressed the button to ask if everything was okay. They apologized and brought it right out. The cherry limeade was spot-on perfect; couldn't be better. So I took the second drink (strawberry lemonade) and my two sliders and tots back to the house. When I got home (five minute drive), the sliders were soggy, the tots were cold and the strawberry lemonade tasted like a weird mix of lysol and pledge. And when I poured it down the drain, there were no strawberries in it. Just maybe a tablespoon of strawberry seeds. Definitely not a good experience... but I'm giving three stars because the app is very user-friendly and the sliders had everything on them that I asked for, so I think they would've been perfect if I'd received...

It is not often that we get home from Sonic with things the way they were ordered. I love Sonic food or I would simply give up and not go back. My son ordered an extreme tot tonight. We glanced through to see that everything was there. When we got home and got it in the light it had no onions, no peppers and no ranch on it. It was simply a chili cheese tot. I tried to call them 4 times at about 10:45 pm with no answer at all. I finally gave up. I am VERY displeased. I paid for something my son didn't get. This gets very old. They expect us to drive all the way back there if something isn't right each time (if I even get through when I call). I try to check everything out before we leave the window but it's difficult and when there are people behind us at the drive through window I feel pressured to move. If we had a different Sonic in Clinton I would go there! I RARELY have a good experience there but I hate McDonald's food so we...
