I recently dined at Sora Sushi and Steak House, and it was hands-down one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! I ordered the hibachi combo plate with steak, chicken, and shrimp, and decided to add scallops for an extra treat. This delightful combination came with a steaming bowl of soup and a fresh salad, setting the stage for an outstanding meal. Every bite of the hibachi was an absolute flavor explosion—perfectly seasoned, tender, and cooked to perfection. The steak melted in my mouth, the chicken was juicy, the shrimp had that ideal smoky char, and the scallops were a heavenly addition. It was the most flavorful hibachi I’ve ever had, with generous portions that could easily satisfy two people without leaving leftovers—a rarity these days! To start, I opted for the avocado bomb appetizer, which was a total delight. Beautifully presented and packed with flavor, it was the perfect way to kick off the meal. The sushi was fresh and delicious, and the full bar offered a plethora of drink options to cater to every preference, rounding out the experience perfectly. What truly elevated the night was our waitress, Mia. She was phenomenal—charming, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure everyone at our table was happy. From refilling drinks before we even asked to offering spot-on recommendations, Mia took the best care of us with a warm smile and a wealth of knowledge about the menu. She’s an absolute rockstar and made the entire experience feel special. The atmosphere was lively, the food... Something went wrong, please try again.

I am not belittling or begrudging any locals or this place. It deserves the 4.5☆ it has. It's a good restaurant for such a rual area. Is it great? No. Is it the best Japanese I have ever had? Definitely not. Would I go again if I was out in this area again? Yes, with no hesitation. Steak and Chicken hibachi: Chicken was good, just a little over cooked, steak needed more seasoning and was over cooked. The Teriyaki sauce was good, the yumyum sauce was good. The salad was good, but the sauce was too sweet. Needed more ginger. The ☆ of the show was the soup. Hot and peppery, really well seasoned. If you like your sweet tea Sweeet. They got you. LOL had to order 1/2&1/2. Steak and Scallops: Steak again was over cooked and under seasoned, the scallops were a little chewy. Not too bad but chewy. The Sushi (Hidden Dragon Roll) was ok. Was packed well and good size for price. Wasn't the best, but definitely worth the price. Pros: Good size portions, plenty of seats, friendly staff, fast service Cons: Prices are high for such a rual area, steak was under seasoned and over cooked, salad dressing too sweet

I'm not going to lie, I was definitely sticker shocked when I got the menu. Pretty expensive for small town Clinton Tennessee. My sister and I ordered sushi and it was decent though it was warm. I also ordered steak hibachi medium rare and it came to me well done (I seriously couldn't even chew it). The waitress got me another order which I ordered rare and it came to me medium well (also inedible). Because I didn't want to complain a second time, I didn't bother. I said it was "fine." The quality of their steak is awful. I ended up eating the rice and veggies and feeding the meat to my dogs. I pretty much paid 24 bucks (before tax) for rice with vegetables and a broth soup and a drenched iceberg salad. The guests that were with me had chicken hibachi and said their meat was edible, but overdone as well. Service was a little slow. Also didn't appreciate one of the servers (not our server) interjecting their ridiculous political opinions when we were having a discussion at our table.

Food is usually good but these people are so stingy. $43 for a teriyaki steak and basic not fancy sushi roll. First time getting food to-go and the up-charges are just non-sense. They want a tip for a to-go order yet don’t let you get shrimp sauce with your meal. Which makes no sense because it’s free and UNLIMITED dinning in and if you want to take it to-go with you after you eat in there it’s free, but if you order it online you have no option to even add it, and when we got there they said it would be a extra $3 after I paid online, I was charged a $1 for a to-go order and $2 for two shrimp sauce cups that are half the size of a normal cup and the cup is half empty. I understand that $3 is no big deal but you just lost a customer for being stingy, if you are that stingy about the small things, I bet you are stingy about cleaning supplies and other essential important things to. If you want your extra $3 build it into the price of your food instead of adding it at the end as “extras”. In the words of the great Oliver Anthony, “it’s a...
