The Boulevard Bistro — Restaurant in Clinton

My husband and I decided to try this new place out on a Sunday afternoon, while being kid free (y’all parents know what I mean). It didn’t disappoint!

We browsed the menu before getting to the actual restaurant, and my husband had his mind and stomach set on the chopped cheese. I, on the other hand, wasn’t sure. When we walked in, the owner greeted us and handed me a menu to look at. I decided on a fried chicken wrap- minus the tomatoes. It didn’t take long for everything to come out and it was delicious! My husband said his chopped cheese had so much flavor and I had to agree. My fried chicken wrap was also very good- the chicken had a really nice crunch to it and plenty of flavor.

The restaurant is very relaxed and open. There are booths and a sitting bar along both walls. We decided to eat here. As we were enjoying our meals, the owner came by to ask how we liked it- all good things to say! He even gave us 2 different soups to sample- OMG. The broccoli cheddar was so creamy and cheesy and the chicken tortilla was creamy with a little kick. We will definitely be trying more things from them. Okay, I don’t know where to start with this man so here we go.

First, the chopped cheese is awesomely delicious. This sandwich will send you to flavor town and you’ll definitely be booking a room. The steak is not too chewy and is seasoned just right while being perfectly cooked. Then the chopped beef will just melt in your mouth and I do mean melt. You taste then it’s gone. Try this sandwich!!!! You won’t be disappointed trust me.

Second, I’m assuming the owner came out with some soups for me and my wife to try and they were a broccoli and cheese and chicken tortilla. The soups sent me back to flavor town where I am now staying for remainder of my time here at this restaurant!! The broccoli and cheese was on point! You can taste every little flavor in this grime the cheese to the broccoli to the creamy base omg I love this soup. Then there’s the chicken tortilla which it’s depth of flavor I mean it was deep like 90s black sitcom deep. It was hard to give this soup back to my wife. The beans,chicken and corn had different flavors but came together to form a symphony for my tongue. Man try this place. I’ll be here at least once a week maybe twice. Good job...

My wife and I had lunch today here. We wanted to try a new local place and this was close by. My wife ordered the chicken fajita wrap and I had the highway 80 sandwich. The food took a bit to come out but a very nice gentleman (I assume the owner) came and apologized for the wait and explained why it was taking longer than normal. I used to work in the food industry and understand completely. The point is he took the time and effort to explain the situation when a lot of people wouldn’t. My sandwich was good, but for the price point of $16.99, it’s a bit steep for what I got. Still delicious but probably won’t order it again. My wife’s wrap was absolutely amazing.
