We were in Clinton today and tried a new restaurant - The Pasture! Really nice restaurant in the downtown area of Clinton. The wait staff was attentive to our needs and kept our drinks full. We tried the sweet potato fries to start our meal off with. They are really good. They are drizzled with honey and have brown sugar on them as well. Worth every penny they charge for these ($7). I wanted the half rack of ribs but they were sold out as it's a favorite item that a lot of customers order. Instead, I got the smothered chopped steak. Really good and the bed of rice that it was on was equally as good! My wife had the Chicken Alfredo fettuccine. Really good and tasty. The side of crispy Brussel sprouts with balsamic vinegar was very good. Something different. The restaurant is clean and well lit. There are several city parking spaces out front, but the most available spots will be one business down to the east in a city parking lot. We enjoyed our time trying the new restaurant. We definitely recommend it and will be coming back!

I'm glad I discovered this hidden gem of a restaurant in Clinton. The staff were very friendly and were quick to let us know of any issues with our orders. Since we did come in the last hour, the kitchen was running out of a lot of food options... the most remarkable being half the steaks on the menu. We were compensated with our bill, however. The food overall is good with some dishes that were particularly delicious (the meat selections) due to it being a steakhouse. The dining area was a bit cramped, but we could get around. The bathrooms were relatively clean, just like the rest of the restaurant. The only real negative of this restaurant was the kitchen running out of food quickly, but that was due, in part, to our late arrival. Overall, the restaurant is a very family-friendly place that emphasizes Christian values and sources ingredients from local farmers. I would recommend coming to this restaurant if you're passing through Clinton. Oh, and they do not sell alcohol.

This was our first time here and we were so blessed by the little Restraunt with a big heart🙏. The ladies welcomed us and took our order and delivered the best home cooked meal. The BEST homemade fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, cooked cabbage, cornbread and tea for me and a HUGE salad for my friend! It was amazing and they were packed for lunch today. Both waitresses helped each other out and everyone was served with a smile and asking how everything was several times during the meal and we didn’t have to ask for refills! Thank you for being such a blessing as my friend and I traveled over an hour to meet. You were warm and accommodating and the restroom and restraunt were clean too. May God continue to bless you as you serve Him🙌

Traveling from Florida back home to Tennessee Googled restaurants in the area and The Pasture Restaurant came up. Reviews are amazing, so we had to try it. First impression: it's decorated beautifully for Christmas and it's so inviting. Driena, who is an absolute loving spirit and is so proud and knowledgeable of the food that she serves, helped us with suggestions. Can I just say omgness. My husband had the Ribeye steak, which was so tender, a very fresh crisp side salad, and a side of the honey balsamic glaze Brussel sprouts that he devoured My elderly mother really enjoyed her made from scratch chicken pot pie and fresh crispy side salad. I just have to add that the salad vegetables are diced so nicely that she was able to enjoy every bite without having to cut anything up. Love it. I myself ordered the steak tips with rice and gravy and a fresh side salad . I have never cleaned my plate at any restaurant before. This time, there was absolutely nothing left on it. The food here is that good. Then we ask Driena to suggest a dessert for us. They have so many delicious ones, but we ask for the apple Cobbler because it's cold outside and I wanted something warm. It was as delicious as everything else. We can not wait to drive this way again. Our souls are happy, and our stomachs are full. Thank you to the owner for such an inviting establishment and having a very welcoming staff who makes the experience extra special. To our server Driena. See you next trip. We can not wait to try more delicious suggestions. God bless you all....

Wife and I went here for the first time tonight. Our server, Alexis, was absolutely wonderful, providing recommendations and apologizing for things that were out of stock (which happens, not a big deal).

I got a Duo plate of 1/4 Rack of Baby Back Ribs and 8 oz. Sirloin with Mac and Cheese, Wife got the Steak Marsala dinner.

-1/4 Rack of Ribs and 8 oz. Sirloin with Mac and Cheese- So, the steak was FANTASTIC. Asked for medium rare, got medium rare. Great grill marks, and wonderfully seasoned. The Mac and Cheese was also perfect; not too wet, not goopy, greating seasoning and blend of cheese. However, the Ribs left something to be desired. They were dry, and very tough. The also tasted as if they were at the bottom of the smoker. The sauce for the ribs (their yellow sauce) was AMAZING though.

-Steak Marsala Dinner- So, this wasn't marsala dish; it was steak with brown gravy and mushrooms. However, the Steak was cooked beautifully, the gravy was good, and the mashed potatoes were excellent. Other than it not actually using a marsala sauce, it was very good.

All in all, the Wife and I are looking forward to coming back. We watched as other orders came out, and I was salivating for one of the burgers I saw. I'll definitely update after our...

For Valentine's Day, my husband and I went here to eat along with my daughter and her boyfriend. We sat at separate tables so that my daughter and her boyfriend could have their own date. The only issue I need to address is this... My salmon was unusually tough. Overcooked. I have never had salmon that was so tough that it could be made into jerky. I had my husband try a piece, and he agreed. It was odd. I didn't say anything and choked most of it down because I didn't want to wait for another to be cooked. My husband said his steak was a little overcooked as well. Also, the waitress did not check on us enough. Felt a little ignored. When we were finished we sat there to wait on our waitress to bring us our ticket. We had finally waited long enough and asked ourselves, and she told us to go to the desk at the front to pay. In my opinion, a good waitress would have already told us to do that as we were finishing up. Lastly, on special occasions, I usually like to order a glass of wine. As a steak house as nice as The Pasture, it's extremely odd that wine isn't served. We will give them another chance, I am sure, but it was a disappointment that we couldn't have a better experience as we did when the pasture...
