Service is very patient, the menu is diverse without being overwhelming, the business is clean and welcoming. The hours of operation are very convenient.
I am a fan of traditional Vietnamese food; this was my first experience with snack/street food. Unfortunately, what you see on the menu is not always what you get. Despite having a really fun texture, the fried sticky rice is pretty bland and needs the included chili sauce; it's mostly rice without much filling to give it flavor. The fried skewers are basic and unseasoned. The fried corn tastes okay, but mostly resembles plain buttered corn. The pork buns are pretty tasty, filled with a variety of seasoned meats. The butter melt waffle was very disappointing, it doesn't match the description on their website, nor the pictures on the menu. It's a plain, untoasted eggo waffle with shredded beef jerky chew on top(see pic).
The macaroni stir fry was very good, just savory enough to add to the combination of textures between the vegetables, meat, and noodles. Their flan is excellent, and I recommend picking up a mix of flavors.
I am happy to see a new variety of businesses like this open in the area. We finally have a new take on the fast food design. I look forward to trying their specials and the rest of the menu in the future, though I hope the...
Read moreWent for the first time today, ordered online. Website was super easy to order from.
Service was amazing, staff greeted me when i arrived, were apologetic when the food wasn't ready (i was a few minutes early). Picked up some snacks while i waited, and i got my food within minutes. Both wait staff thanked me, and wished me a good day. Having such great service and staff make it very easy to want to go back (I plan on going back next week and bringing a friend or 2).
Food was great, ordered the eggrolls (though they were smaller than i expected for the price. The Bahn Mi was probably the best i've ever had in the US, so tasty. The Crispy Macaroni Omelette Cake was really good, i've had that before somewhere else, and was good.
I do feel the portion sizes are small, but i'm used to regular US sized portions where you have plenty of food to takeaway.
But saying that, i still enjoyed all the food i got, and can't wait to try the rest of their menu.
My only wish is that you could choose the sweetness of the drinks from the online menu. Other places that do similar drinks allow you to choose the sweetness of the drink, but there wasn't an option on the ordering website to do that. I found my Thai tea to...
Read moreMy husband and I were pleasantly surprised by this cute little shop. Reminds us of the Asian shops in California that we used to frequent.
You have seating on both sides when you enter and order by register. To the left is a snack station for ready made stuff. The staff were super nice and helpful.
The Food: Sticky Rice with variety of meats on top (Xoi Man)- 4/5 this little appetizer really brought back memories for my Hubby with his Dad. It has pork floss, Chinese sausage (Lup cheong), pork loaf and an egg on top of sticky rice.
Rice Flour Omelette Cake- 4/5 this was as expected with pan-fried rice cake (similar to rice noodles in Lad Na/Chow Fun) and cooked into an omelette with a sweet soy dipping sauce
Stir-fried Macaroni and Beef- 3.5/5 This dish was good! Just not as flavorful as I’m used to but the flavors are there and light.
I would def order these three again!
My husband was able to work a little while I hung out and enjoyed the music. We will definitely be back and hope they bring more items...
