I read the great reviews and was looking forward to some great brisket, however, I was disappointed in the texture and flavor. Maybe I am used to eating in Texas and Kentucky, because this brisket was so full of fat rather than meat and it was chewy. It had an off taste. Even the onion rings tasted off. I have never left brisket on my plate, but this time I did. To top the whole thing off, the waitress had to come back and ask us three different times what our order was. I also asked the waitress, Jennifer C that the checks were separate from one another , but in the end she had all our orders on one ticket. We then asked them to be separated and she didn’t know how to add them so they would be separate. She didn’t know how to add? Seriously, said she did not know how to separate the orders and then she charged me 25.96 for a 16.95 sandwich. My friend had the bull of the order. Yes, I was mad and this drunk woman at the counter then started calling me really filthy names and me to shut the ….up and mind my own business. It was like hillbilly central in there. This woman had nothing to do with the situation and was yelling curses at me, telling me to leave. It must have been a local , but really? She needed to mind her own business. The whole encounter was really rather disappointing and to have a local sling filthy words and ranting at a visitor to their town? Wow. Yes, I yelled right back this woman telling her to mind her own business. Worse...

Stopped by here on the way back up to Washington with my uncle, managed to get in before the dinner rush. Seemed like a pretty decent place, clean and well kept but an older building. There was only the one server, so it was a little slow, but the wait was WORTH IT. I got the pastrami melt with BBQ vegetables and my uncle got the brisket platter. I was expecting basically a Reuben and some grilled veggies with BBQ sauce, what I got was an inch thick stack of some of the most delicious and tender pastrami I've ever tasted on a perfectly roasted white rye with just enough cheese and grilled onions to enhance the delectable meat without overwhelming. The veggies were more fried than grilled texture wise, but they were absolutely delicious, in an almost delicate sauce that seemed to be more just juices from the veggies with a little seasoning than anything else, so they were a beautiful side to the rich pastrami. I literally almost cried, it was so good. I'm thinking my uncle enjoyed his brisket as well, since he cleaned the plate to the last sauce drippings. Absolutely a must try if you're a...

I used to love this place, I went here about three years ago the BBQ was awesome, I'm not sure what happened. I just went back for breakfast a couple of days ago and it was a disaster. They opened at 9am we got there right at 9 and they weren't open, finally the cook let us in at about 5 after 9 but said the waitress wouldn't be there for another 10 to 15 minutes, not a good start. After ordering the food came out slow and not at the same time, my poor nephew got his pancakes 15 minutes after everyone else got their food. I ordered the corned beef hash with eggs over easy. My eggs weren't even cooked, I like my eggs runny that is not an issue but these eggs were legit not cooked the middle of the yolk was cold, not edible. The corn beef has wasn't very good either they say it house made but I doubt it, it looked like mushed up dog food I wish I had a picture. My ordered a side of bacon, and the bacon wasn't even good, and this woman loves bacon. I have memories of going here as a child I try to go every couple of years but maybe skip breakfast and...

Glad we stopped in for breakfast. The food and the portion was good. The restaurant is close to the KOA camp ground. The place reminded me of the restaurant Bella & her dad ate at in the Twilight movie-- nice and cozy. The lady that helped us was very friendly. It looks like the restaurant is small, but there are 2 sections. Lots of seating. They also have a patio for eating outside. They have bbq sauces on the table (which tasted really good). Everyone there was friendly.

Went by this place on the way to Mendocino. Stopped by for the BBQ, it was great, had the BBQ Brisket sandwich with wedge fries, very soft and tender. The brisket was great and you can pull it apart with your fingers. Great service and relaxed atmosphere, sat out on the patio. Walked into the main restaurant and the A/C was very nice and wonderful. When I ate outside it was 85 Degrees. We have a small dog and the server was very accommodating.

Oh Lord, i dont know where to start. Garlic fries had big chunks of onions, and garlic was burnt. Disgusting. Brisket looked and tested like it was boiled, no flavor and tough. Mac and cheese straight out of the box and couldn’t even cook them right. Daughter had chicken thighs, not sure how long they had them stored, but they didn’t taste right. We left them on the plate like most of the other food. I really hope we don’t get sick.
