McDonald's — Restaurant in Clovis

Don't plan on using the drive thru after 10pm. Their hours are listed as being open till midnight but after the dinning room closes at 10pm the staff hangs out in a booth and drinks the coffee they are supposed to be selling. I am a security guard that works nearby and it's extremely frustrating that they are always closed early and I can't get lunch on my night shift. It happens so frequently that I filed a complaint with corporate and I talked with a representative who assured me they would be open until midnight and the employees were disciplined. But even on the the same day that I talked to the rep this McDonald's closed early again. I went by agian tonight at 10:15 pm and they were closed. I parked in front of the door to see if maybe the hours changed but none were posted. I tried to look it up online but no hours their either. While I was looking for the hours the employees sitting in the dinning room got up and hid behind a pillar. When I left I had to turn around and pass the dining room again to get out of the parking lot and the employees were sitting back down and one of them was flipping me off. I think the person that flipped me off was the manager too because she was the only one with a red shirt, the other 2 had blue. If this is the kind of behavior their employees are behaving in and not even corporate is doing anything about it, it makes me worry about how they handle the food. I don't recommend...

I live a good distance away from this McDonald's. I actually have liked this location. it does have a park and rest area out here. I have been lucky that the customer service has been in the past but lately this year I've notice a big change. I have bought burgers and fries also at times. But I feel like I got scammed though. there small hamburgers that are usually about a $1 maybe $2 a lady employee was charging up to 4 bucks for a small hamburger. I had bought two items and it was over 9 dollars!! over a year ago 2 or 3 items used to be under 6 dollars. 2 of my friends say they won't come here anymore because the cost keep changing on them every time they order at McDonald's. I just feel scammed the cost here have gone too high. Combo meals are very expensive now. But food portions stayed the same since 10 years ago. Their dollar menu I think is past times. I remember a small cheeseburger cost $1.29 on dollar menu so I thought that in 1 years time that was going to climb and sure enough it did months later. Some days when I've been out here this McDonald's was very packed and drive through pack and the next time I visited the gas station near here the McDonald's was very little people there. It's just getting expensive for snack foods in California. One of the ladies. that new here she makes up her own prices. So I’ve worked in fast food before, so I really try to give restaurants the benefit of the doubt that they may just be having an off day, but every time I have visited this location the food has not been up to par. Don’t get me wrong, the employees seem kind enough but the quality of food is terrible. Fries are ALWAYS stale and cold. I ordered chicken nuggets and those tasted like they have been sitting. I had also ordered the buttermilk chicken sandwich because I decided to splurge a little and I was extremely disappointed. Nothing like pictured and definitely nothing like I have been served before from other locations. The presentation alone look as though someone literally threw whatever on and called it a day. Definitely not worth the money. Like I’ve said, I have worked in fast food and not every restaurant has good days but it’s a problem when the quality of food is bad on every single occasion. I really hope that this location can work on quality and presentation more. I hate thinking that I need to drive an extra 15 mins to go to a location that will actually serve me what I pay for rather than going to this one...
