Center Court Pizza & Brew — Restaurant in Clute

I usually dont make reviews and keep my opinions to myself. After what I experienced I hope something is done. Last night my family and I sat at The big table closest to the door. My waitress jocelyn she was so sweet and very polite. She catered to us very well! But the manager on floor i asked Jocelyn if i can have her name. Kali, it was upsetting to watch. I constantly seen jocelyn doing all the work, and saw the other young lady (kali) who is supposed to be manager for the night just standing behind the bar the whole time while i was there talking to her what look liked significant other. Mean while jocelyn was still catering to us. As she was cleaning near us the manager asked her to close for her so she can "clock out". As she was done clocking out she sat at the bar drinking a couple beers with her spouse. Im a regular i come in and i love some of the ladies and Jocelyn is one of them. Due to me seeing her over work herself with no manager help i tipped her very well. Treat your employees right. The managers attitude is just unpleasent when she has to WORK. Food is great but im very very disappointed on how the manager was treating the employees last night. Work is NOT the place for laziness! A manager should not be a manager to sit all day at the bar with their spouse and complain to get off work early just to have a few drinks. I'm sorry to the employees after seeing what they have to deal with, And im sorry to my waitress Jocelyn for having to cater to us while cleaning and running tables, and still pick up her mangers slack all at the same time. If you go to center court ask for jocelyn shes a very good waitress she's very sweet she always makes you feel welcomed and if theres something wrong she handles it very well and is very understanding and patient, and good people are hard to come by. I hope next time my friends dont see this...

2ND VISIT And it was just as awesome as the first visit. We tried a few different things this time. The wings are perfect! Just crispy enough without being dry, well covered with sauce but not dripping. Hot crisp flavorful , you would be hard pressed to find better wings. We got the Touchdown pizza again and it was exceptional just like the first time. I ordered the spicy hen sandwich and the fried chicken breast was seasoned and perfectly cooked. Crisp on the outside juicy on the inside. The dill pickles and pickled jalapenos went great with the sweet spicy sauce. Their fried are seasoned and perfectly cooked. We also tried their Big Easy fries with boudin and cheese sauce. Iam not a big boudin fan but they were good. Everything was great again, food, beer selection and even our waitress Abigail was incredible! We will be back!

1ST VISIT Went to watch the Texans game and was not disappointed. Lots of TVs , great service, clean , reasonably priced and all the food we ordered was fresh and tasty. The Touch down pizza is definitely something to talk about with herb butter brushed around the crust edges it was possiblythe best we have had since moving to Brazoria County. ❤ I tried a McKenzies's Pineapple Hemp Cider that Iam absolutely in love with and can't find it sold anywhere in Tx but here. If I could, I would not give it any stars. This was my second time coming here and it will definitely be the last time. The first time I came here it had just opened. They gave away my order to someone after I payed for it. I brushed it off as new business mistake. I went in today and I was shorted two dollars after I paid. I had it corrected while I was waiting for my pizza that they said would take thirty minutes. I asked how much longer it would take after fifty minutes. They told me that there were 3 orders ahead of me instead of how long it would take and my complaints were completely brushed off. I saw 5 people who order after me getting their orders before me. It took an hour and fifteen minutes and my pizzas were cold when I got them. I took them anyway because I wasn’t going to start cook at 8:15 for my family.
